I seriously hate the DS260... 😡 every time I try to save before moving to next page, it boots me, losing all information entered and forces me to log back in and start over 😭😭😭

I always saved once I put in information. Like if you fill out all the address stuff etc I saved inbetween.

Smaller pages I just saved at the end.

It took for sure 10+ logins. SUPER ANNOYING

For those interested in the NVC Expedite Request, specifically for Colombia (you may need to check with your country if this is also the case), you MUST submit the DS-260 and supporting documents before requesting the Expedite. I requested the Expedite originally once I received the NVC Case number, but was asked to resubmit once the documents were uploaded. I uploaded all of my documents and the DS-260 on Friday (Nov 😎 evening local time and received an email today (Nov 14) stating that they are reviewing my request.

Hi,

Quick question... My  AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT (AOS) section is complete and information has been submitted. However, the civil documents are incomplete because I am waiting for my husband's police report. If everything is correct with AOS, will I still get DQ for that section or will they need to have the civil documents completed as well?

If I am right , they need to receive everything before reviewing documents .

that's so fast! congrats! i thought there was a 4-6 week wait on processing of docs sent to NVC.  i submitted mid October, so hoping it's in the next few weeks

Thank you! Honestly, we were emotionally prepared for a 6-week wait as well. It's baffling how/in what order they decide to process docs, and a part of me expects to get an email any minute now saying they made a mistake and turns out we need to submit xyz before we can move on.

Good luck! ❤️ Keep us updated. 😊

It's crazy. Bird&Bear got a feedback from NVC super mega fast (and good for them - bravo ;-)) and some others (like you, Black Cat!) have been waiting for weeks. It is really strange all those differences in the treatment (eventhough I know, all cases are unique blablabla...)

... :(

USCIS - FILING FOR I-751 (CR1)

May 21st 2022 : package sent (with Fedex / Delivered on May 23rd)

May 27th 2022: case received with Receipt # (NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER)

May 31st 2022: NOA received. I-797 (24months extension)

June 11th 2022: NOA for a Biometrics appointment (set for June 30th - need to reschedule it - not in the US on that day! 😱)

June 14th 2022: walk in at the Center - all went well. Biometrics done!

December 8th 2022: Received a Notice of Action. I-751 APPROVED! 🎉

December 10th 2022: New GreenCard received in the mail 🥳
