your interview is coming up, once you get your Green card, the EAD is cancelled, so you won't need it. Your green card replaces it anyways. best of luck!!

AOS/EAD/AP ->: 11/29/18 - NOA1: 12/04/18

Biometric NOA:  12/14/18  Biometric Appt: 12/26/18

Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview: 1/16/19

EAD/AP approval: 3/18/19

AOS Interview Appt: 6/4/19

AOS Interview: 7/10/19

AOS Approved: 7/23/19

GREEN CARD IN HAND: 7/26/19

It happens usually.  Even after my wife got approved for her AOS and the GC was sent to us, the EAD and AP still showed a status of "biometrics complete" or something like that. So once you get your GC, the EAD and AP will be cancelled.

Thanks for replying. My field office is Orlando and I saw it has a long waiting time before interview. Some companies are interested in my job profile but without ead in hand they don’t want to proceed that’s why I m curious how this procedure works and there is any chance that I will get my work authorization soon.

AOS interviews are handled by your local field office whereas EAD and AP are processed at a national center. Some field offices process faster than others (most of this has to do with the amounts of cases they have to handle). Our field office (Jax FL) processes incredibly fast. My husband had his interview within about 3 months of filing. GC in hand a few weeks later. He never had an EAD or AP they were just automatically cancelled because he was approved for a green card.
