She didn't object at all from what I saw. She didn't denounce it either afterwards.

The bill is requiring a rent control of no rent increases of year to year of 3%. Last year I had to raise my rents on my rental properties avg. 11.5 percent cause the property taxes went up $600.00 each property. So how am I to recoup rising taxes and costs?

Ok, so I am not a good person by trying to stay even but am good by taking a loss? I will end up having to sell the properties sooner rather than later and that probably takes away rental property that is sorely needed in my area. It is needed so much I am looking to maybe buy some more land or houses and build or remodel them into rentals but if my rents  are capped at 3% and the costs are raising higher than that I will have to not do so. In fact my wife and I are looking into turning the houses into duplexes so more rentals can be placed in the market. Rent controls makes that unlikely.

I can't believe no one was familiar with the old Jonathan Swift satire about baby-eating? We even read that in high school! Anyway, AOC (who I am NOT a fan of, by the way) said she didn't go on the immediate offensive in the moment because she was trying to de-escalate the situation in case the woman had a mental issue. This is a real issue for her, as she has been targeted by mentally unstable people before. I'm sort of surprised that anyone thought this was anything but a stunt (which of course it was, the woman was not an AOC supporter).

Yeah, it was much more of a brush off, but no actual objections.  In fact, I believe the only objections from AOC were more toward anyone mocking the "must eat babies" lady regarding that ladies supposed mental condition.  Did AOC get a degree in psychiatry in the last few months?

Isn't there a professor in Sweden advocating eating human flesh as a means to combat the climate change "crisis"?  Aren't there climate change advocates supporting population control as well.  This seems like a logical conclusion by this lady who seems like a truly devoted climate change "crisis" believer.
