US embassy is not responding for Inquiries

Timeline

Greetings people, My case is been in AP since 12th December 2018 , usually after that my case has been updated once every month , but in Mid July me and my spouse decided to contact the Senator , but the embassy respond the same thing to him , but as they updated my case on 31st July last time the same day Senator send us the response , since than my case has not been updated , I waited 2 months as its mentioned in US embassy sites to wait before sending any inquiries but since than I have sent 3 Inquiries to them and they haven't replied to them , my question Is it normal that Embassy sometimes does not respond to inquiries ?

They are replying to few people but it’s happening to many people, even I’ve sent almost three inquiries on which instead of replying they just updated the case date on one inquiries and for rest of two inquiries they didn’t even updated the case status date.

but they are not even updating my case , and it all happening since i contacted the senator , it makes me wonder if him contacting the embassy upset them ?

Well you would just get the still in AP which you can see anyway. So pretty pointless.

Administrative Processing can not be waived or expedited........until AP is complete, contacting them is pointless.........

August 7, 2022: Wife filed N-400 Online under 5 year rule.

November 10, 2022: Received "Interview is scheduled" letter.

December 12, 2022:  Received email from Dallas office informing me (spouse) to be there for combo interview.

December 14, 2022: Combo Interview for I-751 and N-400 Conducted.

January 26, 2023: Wife's Oath Ceremony completed at the Plano Event Center, Plano, Texas!!!😁

February 6, 2023: Wife's Passport Application submitted in Dallas, Texas.

March 21, 2023:   Wife's Passport Delivered!!!!

May 15, 2023 (about):  Naturalization Certificate returned from Passport agency!!

 

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

You know you are in AP

 

A congressperson has inquired and told you are in AP.

 

Your status tells you you are in AP.

 

So them sending an email back to tell you you are in AP seems not a particularly high priority.

true, but obviously for us its important to know if there is any update in our case . That is only one way we can find out if there is progress in our case or not .

The update would be when the system shows you are not in AP.

Well you sound like Embassy hehe, we don't send emails or inquiries to embassy asking to wave or expedite AP , we email them to know about the progress .

I understand.....we all get impatient, and we want to know the progress.......hopefully, they will complete the AP soon......

September 7, 2021 I-751 Interview, Sept 8 Approved and Card Being Produced

October 21, 2021 N-400 Biometrics Completed  

November 30,2021  Interview, Approval and Oath

December 10, 2021 US Passport Issued

August 12, 2022 PHL Dual Nationality Re-established & Passport Approved 

April 6,2023 Legally Separated - Oh well

Do you happen to know the magic date for Afghanistan? We are in AP for 15 months and our last update was Sept 26.
