Recieved the case numbers for I-485 and I-765 via text today :) When I check the case status on USCIS' website, for I-765 it says "cas was recieved" but for I-485 it says " fingerprint fee was recieved". Is this how it's supposed to be?

Awesome!  Could you let us know when you sent it in? Ours was delivered to the Chicago Lockbox on Monday and they haven't texted... just wanted to see timelines :) thanks!!!

We sent ours out! Couple of hours ago! So much excitement and relief despite the nagging fears that we somehow overlooked something. Fingers crossed. Thanks to everyone for their help.

Ah fudge, I've been working on my application for weeks and didn't include copies of the marriage certificate with the I-131 and I-765.

I'm not sure three copies of the marriage certificate are absolutely necessary for the entire package.  One copy (preferably with raised seal, certified) for the I-485 absolutely.  For the I-131 and I-765, wouldn't hurt but may not be necessary.  I wouldn't sweat it.

Yeah I'm not really sweating it. I was super stressed out over the K1 process but this time around I'm taking it a lot more chill. I'm just happy to be with my husband and move on with life. :)
