Recieved the case numbers for I-485 and I-765 via text today  When I check the case status on USCIS' website, for I-765 it says "cas was recieved" but for I-485 it says " fingerprint fee was recieved". Is this how it's supposed to be?

Go to your post look up in the upper right corner you'll see a flag click on it  and explain what you want, a mod will see it and make a decision.

ok, so i have been reading AOS filers from may 2019, and what i saw was that people that filed n May most of the already have AOS interview for the month of November... and most of their work permits and travel document within 3 months of applying... and according to my time line in VJ i should get an answer next year in march or april 2020....

The processing time depends on the processing center.

BUT OK SO THE LOCK BOX IS CHICAGO AND THEN IT GETS DISTRIBUTED SOMEWHERE ELSE?
