I made a post a while back and I feel I asked the wrong question.. So this'll sum it up.

I've read it takes about 2-3 weeks for USCIS to send the package to NVC. It's been 6 weeks for me and my account still says the same:

The stage when an approved petition gets sent from USCIS to NVC is frustrating because it takes so long and you don't hear anything for many weeks.  It would seem like a simple thing for a file to be transferred from one government office to another in today's world of digital files but that's the reality of the situation.  It took our file two months from petition approval to receiving the NVC case number.  So you should get the NVC email soon explaining your next steps.  In the meantime do your research, prepare your documents, wait patiently....  Good luck!

Wow. Even though it took 139 days to finally be sent to NVC, was the whole journey from start to finish still in the range of 12-13 months?

September 9 2019 - In Progress,  Your benefit request has been accepted and is under review.

Today's November 19, 2019. lady3jane, you're the only person I've seen say it took longer than 8 weeks. Is there anything, Anything, I can do to see what the hold up is? If my case does take over 4 months to finally send to NVC, should the whole thing still be finished by 12-13 months?  Thanks everyone!

You just sent your I130 packet in August? Has your I130 been approved yet? Your case won't be forwarded to NVC until your I130 is approved by USCIS, and depending on your service center it can take 8-12 months for I130 approval. What that screenshot you posted looks like is just a notification that they received your packet, not that it has been approved.

Yeah just sent it in August. I am not sure if the I-130 has been approved yet.. all it says here is that it has been accepted. From my understanding, the only thing that USCIS has told me so far by the looks of this, is that they have received my benefit request and it's been accepted and under review.

From what I have seen in countless comments on VJ, is that it takes roughly 8 weeks from the day the I130 is submitted for the USCIS to send the package to NVC. And then the NVC takes over and they are the ones to approve the I-130. In this case, it should have been around October 15 that my file was sent to NVC.  Am I missing something here? Maybe I'm Completely off with my assumptions.
