Hello everybody!

We sent our papers in September 3 and it was delivered September 4. The check cleared today. :)

The only thing that worries me is that we didn’t have a certified copy of our marriage certificate yet. (LA has a wait time of around 2 months!) We sent in a “customer” copy, a copy of church records, and a receipt showing we purchased certified copies. I hope that they accept that and the worst thing that will happen is getting an RFE for that.

Anyway, good luck to everybody!

Because you submitted another application separately, you want to say “No” so that it does not issue you a second SSN.

Mailed my papers yesterday and they will receive them today, but from people's comments we might have goofed. We paper clipped the passport photos to a blank sheet of paper and we left everything blank that didn't apply to us, instead of N/A or None. We also didn't include a certified copy of the marriage certificate. Just a copy. Guess we will see.

I'm about to mail my packet today, and I just saw your comment about leaving blanks and the photos.

For the I-129F, my husband left everything that didn't apply blank. And I'm doing the same with AOS. I put the passport photos in small ziploc bags and paper clipped them to the forms.

Did anyone get in trouble recently for leaving blank boxes and paper clipping the photos?

I also only have a copy of the Marriage Certificate.

I did the same thing for the I-129F too. I did not receive any RFE for it. So I have no idea.

I didnt N/A all blanks either. Will this be a problem?

Sounds like quite a few of us didn't put N/A. I think we will be ok. I am trying to think logically, if it was mandatory, there should be a way to type N/A or none.

Hello everyone, we sent our AOS packet earlier. I’ve been reading stuff here saying that all items that does not apply to us should have N/A on it? We left it blank though
