At this time is kinda pointless to apply for EAD and Travel Permit if they are just going straight to the Green Card. Oh well

HA!!   VJ sent us an email updating the expected approval for EAD and AP.....sometime around the end of December.   Our GC interview is Oct 31.

When we went for biometrics, I asked if it was possible that we'd get the GC before the Combo Card........rep told me "oh no, no way".    Heh heh......  I guess "way".

NOA on July 9, biometrics on August 8. No change, still "Fingerprints completed." Starting to get discouraged here...

Greer is an average 138 days from Bio to Interview.    They sent our interview letter 5 weeks before interview.    So I think you're into mid November for your letter and mid Dec for your interview.

Hey all -

It looks like some of you are tracking your cases online. We did fingerprints back in early August and haven't heard anything since. Can someone direct me to where I can check the status or where to sign up online?

There are a few ways to do so:

1.Old USCIS website https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus

2. New USCIS website https://my.uscis.gov where you need to make an account (also can sign for receiving notifications). This website also has a virtual assistant Emma and basically through Emma you can contact a real assistant :) It makes sense to check both of websites since sometimes one of them receives updates faster than another.

3. Also there are a few apps for phones. However as far as I know they are connected to old website.
