Hey guys! Any updates for anyone here. We're back at "Case Ready to be Scheduled".

I'm waiting for mail since April 9th. How many days should I wait before contacting USCIS?

Could call, not sure they are scheduling interviews until they know when they are reopening

Seems USCIS was or is waving AOS interviews. They used to routinely issue green cards several years back without interviews. I suspect it has something to do with the Corona virus situation.

Congratulations if you were anything like us we were floored when we were approved without an interview. There has been about 8 or 9 cases of this on VJ.

While I did sent an inquiry after a full month of waiting for a mail, it seem like the case was still processing and there was no mail sent.

 

So within 90 days, they will set up an interview and mail that info to me.

 

Doesn't sound like we'll get the GC right away, it's gonna be an interview.

I have been gone for awhile glad to see some.have gotten there GC without interview..... We were scheduled for interview in March and of course it was rescheduled.... it will be interesting to see how far out the interviews will be when they open back on the 4th

Before the pandemic I had an interview date of March 23rd...it was canceled bcuz of the coronavirus.....  now the website just say ready to be schedule

Same with us. We were set for 24th but received notice of cancellation on the 19.

My date was March 30th. Before the date I got a letter about the cancelation. Same day also changed my case to: "Case is Ready to be schedule for an interview", it's been like this since then. 

 

I believe if they decide to grant you a GC without an interview your case will change or you may get it without the system being updated. 

 

I believe the USCIS is way behind with cases due to COVID19, this will take forever, unless they add exceptions on cases with no red flags. We must pay attention if the congress will assist them with aid or not. Because if they lost 61% revenue + no aid, don't know what could happen. 

 

Nevertheless, hope we all our GCs before that.. Let's keep each other posted!
