We received our NVC case number over the phone and updated the beneficiary's mailing address and email address. Hopefully they contact her email rather than physical mail because the addresses are quite difficult and unusual (hard to find on Google maps but not so difficult on yandex) and i forgot to include the postal code. I was told the case would go through administrative processing and then go to the embassy but I thought AP was after the interview.

AP is the default for any case that is sitting and waiting on the next step.  That's all it means. Don't read more into this then what is transpiring.

@Greenbaum, Do you by chance know if there is a sub-forum for the country of Georgia? I know there are only a handful of people going through the Tbilisi embassy, so maybe a sub forum may not exist?

Going through Tbilisi here.

We now officially have our interview scheduled for September 19!

If anyone else is going through Manila know that there are plenty of dates open earlier than that. The 19th is just the day that was good for us.

I hope everyone else has the same smooth experience we have had!

Its good to know that. We haven't schedule for interview yet. Will do in a few days. I was following your timeline, we are I guess the same date of approval. Good luck to us.

Mmmmm isn't that why you hired an attorney? Our hypothesis is proven to be true once again. Lawyers typically don't add much to the process but trouble.

I'm going to help with the confusion. If you read through and study these links that I am providing, you'll be less confused and in the end much smarter then the lawyer.
