Day 96 impatiently waiting for NOA 2

today feeling frustrated hopefull one second hopeless the next - so many things to fall into place in this process - I am a Planner - logical and process oriented analytical first emotional secondly -

timing is everything and the sole thing here we do not have control over - we are asked to plan with timeconstraints without being given any reliable information to do so - today is the first day I realise the USCIS stress factor ...

it even spilled into our phoneconversation  Today - this is unfair -

how do you guys deal with it all -

Since none of the governmental agencies hadn't made or promised any hard dates that a decision will be made I tend to go about my business. That's how I went through this entire process, and 2 weeks ago my wife had her naturalization swearing in. Tomorrow she applies for a passport. It all gets done, but its not on OUR timetable.

For the first time since last night I did something I haven’t done during this entire process which has been to constantly check. I’ve been fortunate to visit my fiancé twice (August & September & returning in 3.5 weeks) after submitting the petition...

last night I read someone write that they checked petitions on the site with numbers before and after theirs...  so I did the same (bad idea!!) and the petition number before mine was showing on the site as “case has been received” and the one after mine was approved on Oct 9th ....and today at work... the one before mine was approved today... I was truly bummed.. bummed because the petitions before and after mine were approved and mine was sitting at “received” .... then I had to remind myself that I’ve been patient this long and perhaps the anticipation of it perhaps being this week truly got to me..  I told myself that I’d be patient and enjoy the process and the past 2 days have been  torture with my constant website checking ... I just need to remind myself that we will receive it...  ok vent over lol..
