Algeria marriage

Hello ,  I’m looking for some info and help of how to marry an Algerian and get him to USA or possibly live in another country.  I have sponsored two men before and marriages didn’t work out.  Also I’m concerned because I’m older then him and am divorced with kids ?  I have heard cam marry in Tunisia ?

You can marry wherever you want, really. For visa purpose, I hope you have a lot of in person time together.

Also if you're posting in K1 forum and you're interested in K1 visa, then you need to marry in the US...

You can apply, but your case will be filled with Red Flags, age,   what is the age difference? , &  especially filing for  two other men.  Did they get their greencards?

Your case will be gone over very carefully, and your going to have the burden of proof you entered into those marriage with good intentions.  It will be a hard , long immigration journey.

 

Yes you can marry in Tunisia, but even being married don't guarantee him a green card  for the US. 

 

Be careful, really keep your eyes open.

Do yourself a favor and save yourself future issues by not going thru with it, this is riddled with red flags and not a good idea, sorry if I am blunt but your future self will thank you, Wishing you the best either way.

getting married will not be the problem

 

you can marry in Tunisia in about 3 days

check their site

 

BTW you can also marry in Algeria by going thru a long process / can take a year for marriage to be approved but i would look into this as it would give you a year to really think hard about what you intend to do

 

but bringing another to the US is not going to happen easily

you may be years doing the process and still be denied

I would think you would be highly scrutinized for all the red flags mentioned

 

after all he still has to interview in Alergia

it is not normal for a muslim man to marry a divorced or widowed woman 

not normal for one to marry an older woman 

not normal for one to marry a woman who can not have children 

 

I should also ask "is he divorced?"   as under Islam he can not remarry till his former wife is married again (and that is not likely to happen)

My husband 

I am married to a muslim

and there are many many divorced and widowed women in Morocco

 

and every embassy will question a age difference in a interview and even deny for it/ mentioned many times here in VJ

The embassy definitely doesn't see any of those things as "normal". Let's put it that way.

 

Also, to OP, as @Boiler had asked, these previous two men, they did in fact migrate to the US through you? Are you still on the hook for the I-864 for them? If so, can you meet the financial requirements for a third?

I should also ask "is he divorced?"   as under Islam he can not remarry till his former wife is married again (and that is not likely to happen)  This is untrue!  Now if he divorced a wife (x 3) he can not take her back (the wife) unless she has married someone else and divorced that man but he is free to marry after a divorce the wife must wait 3 cycles.

It really depends on the culture not taught in Islam as the Prophet (PBUH) first wife was a much older widow.  The embassy will of course go on the cultural norm of the area the beneficiary lives.

Correct which is why I said they go on cultural norms.  There is a difference between Religion and Culture in which some seem to confuse...
