Personal note:  I'm finished with this infernal immigration process, but I remember the trauma of it clearly.  I sincerely hope for rapid progress in your case.  Even if I don't respond openly, I cheer loudly at each announcement of success.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

#######, just got a letter for a biometric appointment for next week. USCIS sent us a letter last year that they were going to reuse old biometrics. What a dumpster fire.

I got the same 2 weeks ago and just got my biometrics taken this past Thursday. Someone in the April 2018 thread did as well and got approved 2 days after biometrics so I'm hoping we see similar progress on our cases.

Please, i would like to know if u contacted uscis before u get your biometric appointment letter. I have submitted my form since January 25th. Got extension letter but never receive biometric letter since March i got the extension letter. Thanks

Hi All,

I finally got approved last Friday. 

Hopefully this news on the first page proves lucky for everyone.

 

Timeline:

ROC packet sent: 1/29/18

NOA received : 2/5/18

18 month extension: 8/25/18

RFE: 3/15/19

RFE response sent: 4/10/19

RFE receipt acknowledgment: 4/15/19

New card production text: 5/10/19.

 

Will update time line when I receive the approval letter and card with correct dates on them :)

So our friend from March that was approved had her biometric last year. I guess that letter about reusing biometrics was bullshit and we were just put on a waitlist for when they could fit us in.

It is pretty clear from the table that people applied for N400 are the ones being left behind... Others with RFE have received RFE, replied to RFE, and got approved for GC while my case still says fingerprints taken... disappointed +1 here.

09/14/2015 - AOS Package Mailed (I-130, I-485, I-864, I-765, I-131)

09/17/2015 - AOS delivered and signed for

09/28/2015 - NOA assigned by USCIS

10//01/2015 - Biometrics Appointment letter received

10/05/2015 - notification of I-485 RFE sent out

10/14/2015 - Biometrics Appointment for EAD/AOS

10/27/2015 - USCIS received RFE response, begins working on the case again

11/23/2015 - EAD/AP approved, new card is in production

11/23/2015 - I-485 case ready to be scheduled for an interview

12/02/2015 - EAD/AP card received

1/13/2016 - interview is scheduled on Feb 16th, 2016

2/16/2016 - interview canceled due to imminent weather

3/16/2016 - 2nd interview scheduled for Apr 20th, 2016

4/20/2016 - Green card approved.

 

1/26/2018 - Applied for Remove of Conditions

1/26/2019 - Applied for N-400

6/6/2019  -  Interview for N-400 scheduled on 7/11/2019

Folks may be you guys can help me out here.   I have a friend whose 751 case approved but she never received the physical green card (got lost in the mail and is in the process of requesting the card to be redelivered from USCIS) but she did get the Approval notice.   Now she is trying to apply for UKs tourist visa and the application form asks about the following -->> Green Card Start Date & Expiration Date.   If she would have applied while her 751 application was pending, she could have just applied with the Copy of Conditional green card and the 18-month extension but since her 751 case has been approved, we were thinking of providing all those documents plus the copy of the 751 approval notice because who knows how long it will take to get the physical green card resent.

 

I wanted to ask you guys to help me figure out what the "Issued Date" on your green card is and based on the events of your case.  Following is the timeline of the events that took place:

 

* Notice Date on the Approval Notice (797) --> 04/28/2019

 

   (Old USCIS website history) 

* We Ordered your new card --> 04/28/2019

* We mailed your new card your Form I-751..., directly to address you gave us --->> 05/02/2019

* The Post office picked up mail containing your new card -->> 05/03/2019

 

So, you think the Issued Date on the card would be 04/28/2019 or 05/02/2019??  Anyone else, please feel free to pitch in your suggestions.

We didn't apply for N400.
