October.  From what I have seen and read on VJ, other forums, etc., they are doing it with F1s, J1s, K1s, and the employment-based (and who knows what else).  Also, it ranges from different service centers and submission months - there is no clear pattern. :(

It seems it goes with no specific order as all the K1 and AOS process 😂 For some it takes 3 months and for others takes more than a year.
The same story all over again, your case depends on which desk is sitting on basically

Yes, even within the same field office, it is like a lottery. The thing we have to be on the lookout for is the fact that USCIS is barely going to make payroll through the summer if government doesn’t aid them because they are fees-funded and applications have lowered because of all the legislation stuff. So, if they don’t make payroll and do not get funding, I don’t know what could happen. That would be a whole different hurdle of waiting. I am keeping a close eye on the news posted by CNN and Wall Street Journal online about it.

For those of us still waiting:

I just wanted to share this so we can keep informed on what is happening with this issue of USCIS or if there are any news of things that could affect us.  I asked in the post to see if this could mean that they may increase the amount of interview waivers - let's see.

Hey guys, could anyone tell me if there are any new restrictions for Argentinians traveling to the United States please?

Thank you!

From what I know anyone can enter US except Europe, China and Brasil I think. No restrictions for Argentina. I think the main problem is being able to leave Argentina if the borders are closed.

Yeap.  On the bright side, if we make it to two years married without a GC, then we would get the 10 year one and would not have to worry so much about interviews.  Haha
