Thought I'd join the May group as I'm an early June filer (i130 for my parents) and I've noticed some in May get approved.  I don't believe anyone in June has yet to be approved except for me.  I received approval a few days ago for both petitions and am waiting to have it transferred to NVC for next steps.

Looks like you got lucky with the electronic processing and got a receipt with IOE number. Call USCIS with the message you are getting to make sure all is well with your case.

I got an email today for both of my parents Petition from NVC with a subject which is: Notice of Immigrant Visa Case Creation, saying that i need to log in at https://ceac.state.gov/IV to check the status, pay fees etc. Did you guys got an email too? Do i have to pay both at the same time, the $120- AOS fee and $325 for IV? Or is it better to pay the AOS first and just wait for the next instruction? Thanks.

cresh_20 - Are your parents in the US? I thought they were out of the country per your post earlier. AOS (Adjustment of Status) is for those that are in the US.

Anyway, make sure you verify what steps to take prior to filing so that the file does not get delayed.

I am sorry, it was misread, i was so excited that i still read the email at 2am in the morning. I am talking about Affidavit of Support fee. Should i pay this first $120 and wait for few days until this is approved? Should i pay it together with Immigrant visa fee which is $325.

Does anyone know about any kind of quota for iR5 visa?

We filed for our parents in February everything went smoothly and they had interview on Nov 19 and got approved.

Since then there is a big silence

No quotas .. What does their CEAC status show ? Administrative processing is very country / consulate dependent
