If you find my information not helpful, please let me know. Either my answer to your question is from years of being here or they are factual and I will post the links so that you can verify or continue reading information that my be a little more in depth then what was said in my reply. You know, sometimes "you" just have to trust the system. This visa process is not hard to do. The hardest part you had was finding VJ. After that there are experts and others from your country who have experienced or have the answer to your question. Everything is here.

You know when someone ask a question, normally I have the answer. I cut and paste using OneNote my answer because it has been asked so many times before. I start ever month and the first thing that I post is tips, tricks and hacks to help you along the way. What frustrates me is that someone will ask a question that was just asked two or three post before. :girlwerewolf2xn:Or they don't follow the instructions from the post where it is explained. Or they disrespect me. I get PM's from other veterans here who ask me how I put up with some of the ####### they see from some of the participants in these thread that I work.  So pardon me if I am frustrated at times.

So, yes at times it is frustrating to me because it's usually the same ones who do not do their homework, do not read the thread or sometimes are just to lazy to use google to find their answer. So thank you for noticing but I'll continue to not always sugar coat my answers especially to those who don't do some of the heavy lifting. All the best to you. P.S. Please don't hesitate to ask a question if needed, I will answer if I have the information for you.

I'm glad we have you here @Greenbaum and thank you again.

Hi, all.

I’m scheduled for my interview tomorrow and I met some k1 ladies during my medical the other day who told me that I need to submit my fiancee’s birth certificate. Is this true? I don’t see it on the usem website checklist as well as Hank’s. I was also told there’s a dress code for the interview? That it should be slacks and shirt with a collar + close shoes, which I think is so ridiculous btw. Tyia!

BC was submitted with I-129f so nope its not needed. Just be cleanly dressed. I've seen many different wardrobes and you want to be comfortable.  Shorts, sandles and a collared shirt and not revealing will be just fine. Goid luck with your interview.

Please be patient, there are a MOUNTAIN of people who would trade places with you. You haven't had that long of a wait - AT ALL.

You filed in February THIS YEAR and received your NOA2 at apparently lightening speed, understand that there are people who have been waiting well over a year and haven't even received the slightest update as to when they'll receive their NOA2.

If other people here can handle waiting extended periods of time and even years, I think it's reasonable that you can handle waiting another several weeks.

Be thankful.

I do not know why they confuse our day-to-day experience with complaints, nobody is complaining and we know that the process is quick for us compared to other cases.

maybe some like me thought that after noa2, everything was going to happen fast, but it's not like that, please do not judge our despair. Thank you

Things really don't get moving untill your case arrives at your embassy.  Of couse each embassy is different so yor mileage may vary.

I’m thankful for the ones that have called NVC! Every time I feel impatient I check vJ and it’s a reminder that a lot of us are waiting for a case number.

This whole process has gone much quicker than I expected anyways. Still, it’s always good to know your case is moving along after the NOA2.

Goodluck to everyone. Based on the comment above, looks like NVC is a 3rd of the way through May. Hopefully some case numbers will be assigned here in the next week or two.

you are absolutely right.....no one is complaining... we are sharing our experiences.... i dont know why some people get annoyed by others comments...... this is supposed to be a support system...not people judging or critcizing.... if you dont like to read others people experiences, despair......please just dont read it or refrain from replying in a very unpleasant way........ and YYEEEESSSSSSSSSS i am desparate here.... we all have real personal problems........ so we dont need you criticizing....

Compared to so may others - everything according to your timeline has happened "fast". Looking forward to your forthcoming updates!

I'm absolutely not judging your despair or many others (as I am included in this group and have waited for an eternity compared to you without having to come on to VJ and spam threads with my daily frustrations); I'm simply opining that it would be refreshing to see a little more empathy. Please put your individual experience into perspective in relation to others.

You are are also a February filer from this year and just got your NOA2. I am an OCTOBER 2017 filer and just received my NOA2 after 582 DAYS - as I am sure you saw when you were viewing my profile and timeline. With that being said, and if you are able to put things into perspective with a little affinity, you would know that my words are not a judgement,  rather an encouragement to practice PATIENCE.
