Just a quick update.  My hubby did his biometrics on April 25 and the USCIS website had updated on April 26th that the scan was reviewed and they are proceeding with the case.  Hoping we're one of the lucky ones from MSC service center that gets updated in a few months to ready for interview.

Sometime it takes months, some people are only called to do biometrics a couple of months before the interview. Some don't get called at all, they sometimes re-use old biometrics.

So that's nothing to worry about at all. If they ever need your fingerprints they will let you know. Could be next month, or next year.

Hi VJ-ers!

i did my biometric appointment yesterday at San Francisco field office. Today as a miracle I was able to login with my case number on the old website and it says fingerprint review was completed! I was also able to see my inquiries about not receiving NOA and my amendment request  which was complete😌

3/4/2016- Received P3, returned it about a week later

3/22/2016- P4 email

5/12/16- Interview. Approved!

5/16/16- After a few days saying administrative processing, CEAC now says issued!

Additional snafu: my fiancé came over on his visa, but just a month later (and the day before we were going to get married) he had an emergency that necessitated him returning to China.  I contacted the Guangzhou consulate via their email system, provided the requested documents/proof, and he was granted a second interview for "reissuance."  He had to re-do the medical, redo the interview (bringing yet another copy of all of the things he had to bring the first time) and we were approved again!  He received what looked like a new visa in his passport, but the original 90 day countdown for marriage was still ticking.  He came back to the US and we got married right away!

8/22/16- Married!

AOS

no news... case status on website still says "fingerprint fee received..."

4/11/17- submitted online service request for case out of normal processing time (over 6 months)

I am so excited for you! This is excellent news!

Sorry I was quiet guys, I was just feeling really stressed, starting this process again after my error, playing the waiting game again. It's tough. So I decided to stay off VJ for some days. I am so happy to be coming back to your good news!!! So you get to travel tomorrow right? :-)
