I feel I am really close to getting approval, I see so much activity on i751 cases close to mine. Two even got approved today.  I don’t want to delay it anymore by applying for citizenship. As the case will have to transferred and I heard with the virus, no New citizenship applications are being approved. Its been 13 months, I really don’t want cause anymore delay.

I'd wait on 751. That's my opinion.

Hi @blueone74 does it mean they want to interview you? I read here someone mentioned, transfer happens when they want to conduct a ROC interview

That seems strange to me. Our evidence is overwhelming. We have a child, home in both names, bank account in both names, taxes filed together last 3 years.....life insurance beneficiary named as my wife, I can go on.......etc etc.

Why would we need an interview....I submitted just about everything possible to show joint relationship.

Your case was probably  moved to Potomac. From my observation , Potomac have been approving i751 without interviews.

My case was transferred to NBC on April 10th from Texas Service Center. Today I applied for N400 even though I was going to wait for i751 approval I thought the sooner the better.

I have a problem that maybe you guys can relate/help with. I was born in Mexico, so I have two last names. I also have a two name middle name.. if that makes sense.. It goes First name-Del Middle name-Last name-Last name.. hope that made sense. Anyway, in my social security card and permanent residency card it only has my middle initial, D. Now I wonder if somewhere along this legal journey I lost my middle name. Anyone else have a ridiculously long name that's often abbreviated? I was going to file my N-400 which allows you to change your legal name. I was thinking if my middle name was lost, I could change it there to add it again. I want my long name! Ha.. I just don't know how to clarify what my middle name is legally. Does the government really think my middle name is just D? My wife has a middle name and her's is fully written on her SS card and driver's license.

Also, still pending on my I-751.. I was moved to a different center on April 8th and no update since.

Go to the social security office and change it. Then change all your  documents. Put your use your middle and dad lastname and mom lastname from now on, and list the old one as previous name used if they ask for any. Bring passports, or any documents showing your full name as evidence. Submit them on n400 application with your new ss card.
