They can hope but if the stores keep having a meat shortage they may get put in oven earlier.

They are the Brown breasted bronze turkeys so they will get big fast. I'm hoping not too fast but I have 3 freezer if needed.

Found out today that my former cat who lives with my mom has a dental disease.  His teeth are falling out. My mom has an idea to brush his teeth as the vet recommended it, I thought maybe she should buy a cat bag to put him in so he doesn't fight it too much. Any fellow cat owners here ever used one? May also be good for clipping claws.

The bag looks like an excellent concept, assuming that the cat wants temporary residence.

A reality of life:  At the earliest possible moment, every box and bag in the house must have a cat in it.

We just used that blanket for our demon cat.

We used to use that bag when I worked at the veterinarian.  Of course EVERY cat at the vet is a demon cat.  The first step is to get the hissing, spitting cat out of the carrier.  Then you have to get said cat INTO the bag.  Easier said than done.

I could have done  with something like that yesterday when I attempted to clip the too long fur on our 4 month old white Maltese shitzu Cross pup. He zigged and I zagged with the clippers in hand... no blood thankfully.. but a significant bare patch on the right shoulder ...😱... and the left flank .. 😱😱.. and a half trimmed pup.. and now face the humiliation next week when I take him for his final puppy shot !

Sounds like the unkindest cut of all, LB ma'am.

 

Must get Cat T-B. to the vet on Thurs.

Job is difficult enough by itself.

Must set carrier on floor a couple of days beforehand.

Biggest challenge will be to instruct/convince Mrs. T-B. & Mama-Mrs.-T-B. as follows:

  1)  Not to MOVE the carrier; and

  B)  Not to close the lid at ANY point.

They raise my other chicks so I don't have to keep them in the house doing it myself. Plus they are so pretty they are yard art

Did you ever try it? My cats are going to the dentist next week, but I'd love to do some brushing at home later. One, I could see holding. The other one... I won't make it alive.
