Cat now lives with my mother now because she has a house and he really likes going outside. So I'm currently catless and it's sad. He's a Russian Blue...we brought him from Russia on the plane. The breed rarely sheds and they're very wild and fierce. Purebred cats in Russia are significantly cheaper than here, btw...Russians are super into breeding cats (and cats in general, they just love cats and it's great), but especially hairless ones. I don't really know why since it's cold there, but I've never seen so many hairless cats as I have in Russia.

Every Russian Blue that I've ever encountered has been very sweet-natured.  Very desirable house-cat.

Briefly had a purebred Chartreux (thick blue fur).  It didn't thrive, so had to return it to the breeder.

Had a silver tabby for 10 years, 2 months, 3 weeks.

Have a verrrrry corpulent tortoiseshell.

Actually Russian Blues are comparatively of rare in Russia, as strange as it sounds. The most popular breed right there now is British Shorthair and various hairless breeds. Chartreux! Awww. Charles de Gualle's cat. I've never met one in person. Too bad it didn't work out. Both of my mom's other cats passed away recently, they were tabbies, indoor/outdoor. That's the danger with indoor/outdoor cats – shorter life span.

Could never let tabby outside -- gone in a flash.

Current cat typically doesn't go far when let out.

Papa T-B. had warned me not to get a "fancy cat," and to stick with regular cats.  He was right.

Beautiful boy, it is strange not having any pets around. ATM I'm overloaded and need to get my duck house done and them outside. 

 

Years ago we had a Russian Blue, she was older daughters cat. She would sleep on her pillow with her and never leave her side. Daughter was 2 when we got her as a kitten.

Bad Tbone bad posting chain letters is a TOS violation. 

 

They need to make a option on FB  to block chain letters. Gah ppl are such a pain in the butt! I don't want your darn chain letter and No I won't pass it along!

So.....I’m BACK.....I know.....no one has to say it out loud....I know I was missed “deep down and all”. 

R (the Algerian husband) and I went to Memphis.....but really stayed in tunica (as T bone may appreciate....the hotel rooms were crazy inexpensive) and we now have 30 videos of cotton fields.
