Anyone here experiencing the polar vortex where you live? Here in WI it's currently -52 with the wind chill -30 without. I have lived in WI my whole life and don't remember it ever getting this cold. Even the post office is shut down and they never shut down. I thought Al Gore said winter was a thing of the past.

Must be nice. As you know my wife is from the Philippines and she can't understand what -50 means. She wants to go to work today which is an hour drive from here and she can't understand why I'm telling her to call in lol.

39 in Dallas suppose to be 50 high today

Should be low 70's for highs by Sunday

Anything below 50 is too cold for me

50 is still shorts weather here in WI. Time to think about wearing long pants when it gets below zero.

Are you in PI now? Or back in the USA?

In Cebu as we speak. The new SM seaside rocks. The theater with giant power recliners and waiters is awesome.

Still to figure out how a poor country supports a high end mall every 3 miles or so.

Yea, I never figured that one out either.  Window shopping is very popular there.

Do you go out much in Cebu for the nightlife? I have made a few trips to Cebu Proper in the past, I always ended up at the bikini bars off or on Mango Avenue.

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

50mph winds, with a -20 wind chill. We had a sheet of ice coating last night, and schools closed today. Snow squall warning this afternoon with white out conditions. Personally I love it. Wish it was a blizzard. Here's hoping my plants and bulbs survive for spring.

we're at a blazing -25 w/o wind chill, feels like -37 (but it all feels the same after -20, not?) - thankfully it isn't as windy as it was yesterday so it doesn't feel QUITE as bad today. School's are closed as well as no mail. It gets colder as you drive east though. Fargo was at -62 with wind chill earlier this morning. I took time to throw boiling water in the air and watch it turn to smoke. Fun times!

What gets me are the news people who waste airtime by sending a guy with a microphone to stand outside  and "report" that "it's cold outside". Pretty sure we all knew that already, thanks. Can't you think of something else to talk about? Kind of like hurricane reports too "thanks jim-bo, yep, it's really windy and rainy (for about 10 minutes)...Back to you in the studio"

I am to far over the hill and so forth,  for that. Wife never give me that much rope. I did go the cat cafe.
