My fiance is from the Philippines. We met March 2018 met it person May 2018 and filed July 2018. I visited her twice last year. She's very worried that she might be denied on the interview because of lots of scary stories about the denials like about the length of the relationship, the age gap thing. Can you please help us on this matter? Would it be better if I come with her on the interview because we have planned before to just pick her up. Thank you for reading and helping us here.

* Moved from IMBRA to K-1 P&P. IMBRA is not a factor in the OP's question. *

Being there at the interview is a positive.

Manila in particular does not tend to have an issue with age gaps, although I have seen at least 1 recent report in which an age gap was presumed to be part of the issue in a refusal.

Best wishes!

Almost half of K1 visas are from the Philippines. It is relatively easy to get a K1 visa from the Philippines but it certainly doesn't hurt to visit again.

You do not need to be at her interview.

What about our time? Like what you read I met her online March 2018 and Engaged when I visit her May. Would there be a problem with this? She's very anxious. Thank you.

Again, perfectly normal for the Philippines. The embassy there is very used to large age gaps and lightning-fast relationships. For other countries it could be an issue.

Although another visit wouldnt hurt. This is the person you plan to spend the rest of your days with, after all.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

Well thank you. Better then be with her on the interview day. Coz our plan was she will attend the interview herself and I will pick her up when she has her visa. I just wonder what's gonna happen on the interview? Will I be there sitting or they will ask Me questions as well? Thanks
