Know many laws that get passed without support?  I don't.

As far as I can see online, this bill allows for abortion up to 24 weeks, and later in cases if the mothers health is at risk. I think it is a misrepresentation to represent that as supporting late term abortion. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not in the article or in any of the posts, but is consistent with current laws in many states.

National Review is a conservative magazine.

The grey area here seems to be the “all factors — physical, emotional, psychological, familial, and the woman’s age — relevant to the well being of the patient" part. Those reasons seem to deviate slightly from the word "medically necessary" but maybe the article is reporting it wrong since it's a right-learning site.

You summed up sorta what i think.  I would add special circumstances for late term abortion

I'm a Xennial (Gen X/Millennial cusp) and I am really, really into YouTube...haven't made videos myself (yet!) but it's pretty much my go-to source for all things media. I don't even have Netflix, for me, YouTube is my thing.

However, I can also say that @Steeleballz has a point, a lot of stuff on YouTube is super niche and there is a lot of more extreme/fringe folks out there with mini cult followings. I've talked to others in my generation (who mostly prefer Netflix) about YT and it seems that it's not as popular as it might appear. There's a sort of person who is attracted to YT, and that tends to be people into niche things who are mega passionate about those areas, for better or for worse. So, I am hoping when it comes to the creepier and more disturbing stuff out there, that it might be more of an exception than a rule.

Fair enough assessment.  I see it more as HowTube, because it's where I go to learn new techniques or how to change oil, or install a particulat item.  Thus far, I have been 100% successful in finding someone who has gone before and documented the process I wish to undertake.

The fringe stuff, I just ignore.  Yeah, it's out there.  The hate videos... man, some people are CONSUMED!  Some people use it as a platform for their hatred, because it's all they have.

In. NY state, one cannot get a lethal injection for rape.  Not for murder.  No lethal injections for pedophilia, nor hate murders.  But a fetus can get a lethal injection, no problemo.

I believe a woman has a right to choose birth control, but not to decide on the fate of human being.

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

The decision to not have a baby should happen prior to going horizontal.  This way, no one is hurt.

Or vertical. Slightly bent over, upright, or whatever the case may be.

If any one of us becomes king, then that's the moment our personal beliefs actually become important to someone other than ourselves. We may not like the decisions made at the state level and there are many more examples of that than this topic. It is the right of the state of NY to do this. We don't have to like it.

states do have this right, however, I am trying to figure out the when, that this became acceptable in modern society. Whether you are for or against abortion, this law transcends what has long been considered as within the realm of humanity, whether in term if 1st trimester, actual physical health of the mother etc ... this law takes a transcendent leap into the realm of viable life abortion at the whim of the mother, I believe that is a slippery slope. I do believe in pro-choice, but this law makes a mockery of what that choice should entail, it is unconscionable that it is made acceptable in the eyes of the law
