Well my interview in Vienna, Austria was just postponed from Jan 7th to a week later, Jan 14th.... I guess it does affect embassies now? 😢

A reschedule is different than a shutdown. What was the reason given?

YMMV

"unforeseen circumstances"

That's as vague a reason you could have possibly be given.  Could mean anything from presidential visit to staff shortage to planned power outage

Shutdown??? What you mean by government immigration shutdown? Why do you think like that. Think positive please

Yeah, because thinking positively is going to change the situation?  I will continue to think positive thoughts.

Misinterpreted.   The original posting was referring to the holiday shutdown, in addition they announced the closure of the public affairs section ONLY!  In typical fashion somebody blew it up

Let's all blame President Trump again.  Isn't everything his fault?  (payxibka I am not insinuating that you blew this up)  I say build the wall.  I did all the work to bring my wife here legally and waited 8 months to do so.  Aloha,  David

Trump said Mexico would pay for the wall. Let's be clear, a wall is a stupid idea (most people illegally present in the US enter legally and overstay on visas, for which a wall would do absolutely nothing), but if he wants to build one he can -- with Mexico paying for it, as candidate Trump stated.

Why Mexico refusing to pay for it (duh) is suddenly our problem, meaning we need to kick in ~$25bn to pay for it, I have no idea whatsoever.

The wall would be there to keep out the people who couldn't be approved for a visa, thus they come here illegally.  Some to find work, some to sell drugs, some to sell other people, some to be mules to bring drugs into the country,  etc.....

The wall is greatly needed along the southern border

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

Now back to topic of Will they shutdown the USEM to visa interviews?  From watching the news yesterday, looks like the Government Shutdown could go a long long time....

Come live in south AZ for awhile ... those I saw in the desert when out hunting or camping .. REGULARLY .. were not entering legally .        Moon isn't made of cheese either.
