UK filers ( @O-J and @MancRed I know are in this thread) here's this week's shipment:

http://www.dhl.com/en/express/tracking.html?AWB=3583182293&brand=DHL

@O-J and @MancRed Wondering if you ever ended up getting an email from NVC notifying you of shipment to embassy? My status is now "In Transit" as of Tuesday but unlike others I never got an email notifying us of the shipment.

I also see a shipment on its way to our consulate for Sydney, so I'm sure thats ours :) , but just curious if not getting an email or delayed emails is normal for certain shipments

I haven't gotten any email from the NVC about the shipment, though mine also says "In Transit." I think not getting one or it being delayed by a few days is normal.

Hey, I haven’t received an email to say it’s shipped and it remains in transit on the site. I think a lot of people are receiving emails because they filled out the AskNVC form like a week ago so it’s a response to that. Could be a mix of that and that they just take a while to send the emails out if they do. Either way we know it’s been shipped!

Thanks for confirming! That’s what I thought a lot of people had done. So in other words @yahoo263 if you email them now you might have a confirmation email of the shipment in a weeks time haha and by that time the embassy could have already contacted you with the next steps. So wouldn’t stress over receiving an email :)

Hey! My NOA2 date was January 16th. I just received word that they just got my petition yesterday at NVC...but to allow for 8 weeks to get the case #??  Curious about the time frame...if it takes so long, why do they only give a 4 month expiry date for our NOA2? It doesn't seem possible with all that goes on in between the approval and the Interview date. thoughts?

I was in transit on Feb 5. Just got my email that my case shipped 5 Feb. My case is now ready on CEAC....The boss has taken the bus in the wee hours of the morning to her provincial capital to get her updated docs and pay her VISA Interview fee at the approved bank. She is a trooper)

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.
