Any disadvantage to sending a lot of photos with i-129f?

Hey everyone

 

I'm planning on sending about 30 or so dated photos of me and my fiancee together. None of them look like a  engagement party or a wedding. Most have both of us, some have just her in same dates and locations where photos of both of us were taken. Is there any disadvantage to sending a lot of photos, like 30+?

I've read stories of people getting denied after sending in 1500 pages of messages so I was just wondering.

With which consulate would she be dealing?

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

That location isn't particularly high-fraud.

Photos aren't great evidence to convince a consular officer, because they can be photoshopped.

Halve the number of photos and print them 2 or 4 to a page.

Include nothing that hints of any engagement party or wedding.

We sent our petition with a lot of pictures too and it was approved in 173 days 😊

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

we sent probably 20 or so spanning 3 years, just photo copies 4-5 on a page, printed out.

 

really they only care about the visit most recent to the petition filing, though, and photos are considered secondary evidence to be used in conjunction with verifiable proof of meeting (such as passport stamps, etc).

i 485, 130, EAD and AP

04/09/2019    NOA1 received/check cashed i 485 and 130 (direct adjustment)

11/7/2019      Interview- Norfolk

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

10/14/21 Mailed to AZ PO Box. Let the waiting begin. Again.

10/16/21 Received at PO Box

10/19/21 Received Text NOA1

I was advised a few strategic photos incorporating friends and family.  I have pics from 3 trips (including 1 engagement photo), 2 pages  12 pics in total.

I sent one photo and it was approved.  It is quality evidence versus quantity evidence.

To be honest I send 35 dated pictures with names and description of each, I stacked them according to dates. I sent the pics along with plane tickets to&from ....border patrol entry passes, hotel receipts , rental car receipts, rings receipts and payment plans, wedding vendors names and contact info...copies of the checks I wrote out to the vendors I had already booked... etc. 

 

the console never asked my fiancé for additional proof of bona fide relationship. I heard sending too much proof can possibly be “too much” ........ but I sent my proof very organized and pulled together everything possible I had at the time of filing

We sent about 3 pages of photos, and receipts, and other things. All printed out and labelled. Each Page had a few pictures and ticket stubs and such for things we did, Like going to Tokyo Disney and such. We got accepted in a little over 5 months from NOA1.
