Hello everyone!

I'm also a November filer too from South Korea and decided to finally say hi!

My NoA 1 came on Nov. 8th :D

Quick question-I need to get a police certification from China since I've stayed here for more than a year in the past five years. Am I supposed to get a police certificate from the Chinese police department?

Our thread has been the most silent one it seems even comparing to December filers. :)

But it seems that first October approvals start to arrive, so fingers crossed we don't have to wait long!

Good luck to all of us!!!

Done! Actually, I'm not living in the Philippines at the moment. Still hoping I can have insights as we go along this journey. Thanks!

The completed profile IS NOT your home country BUT the country from which you will process your visa. If it is not the Philippines, then can you change your profile so we give you the right information the first time. Thanks.

hi! we have the same noa1! haha

As for the police certificate, yes you need to get that from the authorized agency. You may have to look into it deeper to know which agency is recognised by the US embassy. For example, in the Philippines, police clearances are different from the NBI clearance that Filipinos need for the interview. Here in New Zealand, they only process police clearance. So make sure you have the right type of police clearance to be safe. Also, take note of validity of the clearance. Some requirements for the interview needs to be valid for atleast 6 months. Again, it differs per country so I suggest you research depending on your consulate/embassy.

I see two October filers get their Noa2, I don't know if the dates are accurate, or if their case was expedited. If so, we should expect our in March- April

Actually I have seen a couple of them getting approve in this site that are October Filers. I hope this upcoming week that all of them get their approvals so we can be next! In the mean time lest keep praying.

Can you up date your profile. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Read these instructions from China Embassy and I think your answer is there plus other insightful information

Where you process your visa that is the country that should be represented in your profile as I and many others need to give you factual information and most answers are contingent on your embassy. What works for Germany many not work for the Philippines. So list your country as the one where you will have your visa interview in. If that is the PI then you are fine with what you have. Thanks.
