Hey! We sent our packet on November 27 and it was received on December 3 and got our first NOA via text on December 6. Would we be part of this group or December’s group?

Either one and depends what kind of student you want to be. If you want to be totally knowledgeable fast then be in the November group but read the thread from the beginning. If you want to take it easy then you will join December and follow along and read the post's as they appear in the thread. Either way you will get an education.

Will I really need to send the entire i 129 package to my beneficiary when the time comes for his interview?

No as there is no reason to. The Embassy will have a copy in their computer. The only reason to send the form and not the back up evidence is if the beneficiary would be well versed in your background in the event the CO were to ask a question out of the ordinary but that rarely happens.

Hello everyone! It's great to find this forum and be part of it. Me (beneficiary) and my American fiance both use this account and have our names combined here.

Our packet was sent November 21, 2018 before the Thanksgiving in the US and we got our NOA1 November 26, 2018.

It's awfully quiet in here, how is everyone holding up? I know the wait is a killer, but it will be over before you know it.

Aww thank you for checking on us!  I am trying my best not to loose my mind. Long distance relationships are so challenging and my fiance and I keep fighting over stupid ### .  I am obsessed with looking at other's timelines and counting the months, which I know is not the most patient thing to do. bahhhhh I wish I started this process sooner!

I can tell you that you are not going through anything that we all have not gone or are going through, just don't lose sight of why you filed your application and you'll get through this.

I only provide the answers, most come from others here on VJ that are experiencing the same issues. I am not an expert so I suggest that you do the reading as that thread is long but has good information. When finished I am sure your question and other questions will be answered. You need to do some of the heavy lifting.

I have to be honest with you my friend is not easy. The waiting time is hard but when I see all those people that applied before me and they are still waiting I say “Well I am not there yet to complain” 😅 I have seen a lot of people from august getting approved which is nice to know that we are just 3 months down the line of waiting🙃.

Hopefully we get our chance to be approved soon too.
