Hello all, quick question...I only received P4, what’s in P3? Interview 1/30/19 Thanks

Normally, the P3 is the instructions from the embassy on what is needed and the steps to complete before your interview and a P4 is not used by this embassy. But, some embassies require you to receive the P3 and contained within are instructions which is a process they require you to complete and submit some documents (DS-160 and maybe a profile page of their own making) specific to their embassy. Once the P3 documents are received then they will reply with the P4 which is (like the P3 for other embassies) the document that are needed, they give you the go ahead to book your interview, where to go for your medical etc.

So when we get the questions "what do I do next/now", and your profile is not complete, it's hard for us to help you because after the case number is assigned then the embassies are in charge and each has their own process's.

Hope this helps.

Was expecting my P4 to arive today so called the post office to ask, but nothing as of yet..With what vigour I call and ask is there anything for me, I think old lady working there will open it for me as soon as it arrives thinking god knows what it is :D

1st and 2nd of January were public holidays, Thursday and Friday nothing arrived for me, weekend is coming when everything will stop and then Monday is again a public holiday because of Christmas day..Grrrr I was really looking forward to it coming today so that Rob could take days off work and get a plane ticket.

Hi all. When completing the ds160 is there an option to save the page that needs printing as I do not have a printer?

Yes, after you complete everything it will give you an option to send that page that needs printing to your email address.

It takes 4-24 hours for the system to update. Try a little latter.

Since your question was Embassy specific I will extend another invitation for you to ask those questions in the sub-forum for the Philippines. Lots of expert there to help you. Every fee payment system for the embassies are different.

Thank you so much @Greenbaum it's already ok got a schedule :)

I need help with the ds160, it won't save my fiances address!!! I was able to put it as my address where i intend to live, no issues. But once I get on family and fiance and enter the State and Zip code it wont keep it. It wont show me an error or something, just once I go onto the next page and return to fiance, the information is gone again. I tried with different internet browsers, same problem. Did anybody had the same problem or any ideas to solve it? Thank u!

DS-160 made me want to throw my laptop out of my fiance's 4th story hotel room when I Was visiting her over the course of 24 hours trying to fill that damn thing out for her.

So I've been working on the DS 160 for the last few days and been wondering why for me the page about my previous work history and my education never popped up... So all of the sudden earlier today when I logged in the page popped up and I filled in some information about previous jobs and my University degrees. However, I wasn't done and went back to work on it right now and it has disappeared again! Even when I go to the "review" section in the very end, the information about my education and employment history doesn't show.

Can I go ahead and submit it without it showing if it lets me or does anyone know any tricks to make this frustrating website work better? Any help is much appreciated 🙂

Gotcha. I was thinking it was for lack of information on the "how to" but you have it under controlled.

Our case was approved on November 20th 2018. We have not received any letters or emails from the NVC at all. We contacted them and now have our case number (LDN). I have booked my medical for January 15th 2019 and have completed and submitted the DS-160. I have gathered all of the documents I need (I think). When tracking our case via CEAC is says 'At NVC'. Is it normal to be at this stage for so long. Some people have seemed to speed through the whole process! Cheers

Hey guys,

It looks like we scheduled it wrong visa type for the interview on the US consultant web site.

there was a spot for K one if you received a letter from the consultant but we selected the immigrant visa one.

It allowed us to schedule the CASV date and asked for our case number.

Has anyone had this happen?
