well now hmm i have nightmares every night about something going wrong!

It’s unlikely to have an interview in December correct? I should be looking into January?

I still have hope to be honest, assuming they will send our cases to NVC next week, two weeks to get number and stuff and other two to receive at the embassy ? maybe we have a chance a slight change but there is still hope lol.

Now I am lost on what to do from here, after we get approved what's next ? wait for the NVC case number? should we start filling out paperwork? if so what paperwork? what's NEXT please help?

I will call our knowledge base @Greenbaum to assist please... HHEEHEH

Hey guys, just out of curiosity how are you all planning your departures and when do you think we could get our visa’s in hand, I know every country varies but just your approximate time, I probably won’t be travelling until jan but just planning other things out before then. My fiancée might come over, then we will leave together.

Also what are you all doing in the mean time after the NOA2 ? I.e preparing your interview documents etc etc

cheers. 😃

I am hoping to have my visa before Xmas but we will see how that goes. Right now I am working on my Oct call and chat history. I have all my other documents ready except for my police clearance from Barbados, this weekend we are finalizing our i134 form with supporting documents and will mail it Monday. So I'm pretty much waiting for my case to be ready so I can proceed.

It's a possibility that you could be looking at December for a interview. If you case transfer next week then yes, but if it is the following week I think January will be more like it. Just a guess.

Visit your Country's Embassy website http://www.ustraveldocs.com/gt/gt-gen-faq.asp

Email the Embassy and ask for a Packet 3 letter (P3) with interview instructions.

Then make a copy, PDF works just fine,  and send it to me via a PM here on VJ. I don't have one from your Embassy and would like to share with others. Thanks and good luck.

I’m pretty sure i wait for a case number.. I’m not sure how i would get it next week since it says 7-10 days.. but maybe there is a possibility. I was going to start calling in ten days. Should i call earlier? Anyway with that number I’ll complete the Ds -160 and set up an account on us travel docs.. pay all fees and schedule everything.

Joining this thread, as we finally got approved on Nov 5, yay!!! After 224 stressful days of waiting - we had a slow officer apparently 😆 So we've already been working on getting some documents togther for the interview, like police certificate, photos and more. I was wondering if it's save at this point to schedule the medical? I did not want to schedule before NOA2, because I didn't want it to expire, but at this point things should move more quickly, right?  I was also wondering if my fiance will be allowed to come into the interview with me in Frankfurt, Germany? Seems like that would be the best proof of our ongoing relationship anyways 😉 Does anyone happen to have a copy of the German P3? It would be nice to read through it already to make sure I'm 100% prepared. I'm really hoping to fly over with my fiance in early February, hope that is realistic!

Thanks so much everyone, for the help and support on here!!

I did not want to schedule before NOA2, because I didn't want it to expire, but at this point things should move more quickly, right?  Things can move rather quickly but it depends on, the medical and the Embassy.

I was also wondering if my fiancé will be allowed to come into the interview with me in Frankfurt, Germany? Some Embassies allow the portioner into the interview and others do not. I recommend that you ask that question to someone in the sub-forum for your region.

Visa Payment System information:

There is indeed a cash pay option but i wanted to do it online so i clicked on the "provide feedback" option and explained my situation and they said to wait 24 hours as well! Here is what they said about the cards: "In addition, please note that our payment gateway is set-up to process the following branded cards:

1. VISA Debit

2. VISA Electron

3. MasterCard Debit

4. Maestro

Just because a card is branded with VISA/MasterCard does not automatically mean it is a debit card. Many of the refusals we have seen are V/MC branded Credit Cards which we never accept.

In addition, there are a number of domestic debit card schemes that are available in the region. Each of these card schemes must have the following features to be accepted online:

1. Co-branded with VISA/MasterCard(Maestro) – i.e. they must have one of these logos on the card.

2. Contain a CVV number (this is the three digit number on the back of the card).

If they do not have both these features, they will not be accepted. "

what documents are you gathering?

* affidavit of support

* latest three tax reports

* last year bank statements

* proof of relationship from the date we filed the I-29F ? including pictures and call logs etc?

* Police and Court clearance for beneficiary.

Am I missing something else?

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form K1/K2 Interview Preparation Instructions – English (February 2014)  Page 3 of 9 with an original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Get the IRS transcript in place of the actual 1040 here: https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

  1. Evidence of ongoing communication with the petitioner, including, for example, emails, letters, phone/video call records, and text/chat/messenger transcripts from throughout your courtship.
  2. Photographs of you and the petitioner throughout your courtship.
  3. Evidence of all times you and/or the petitioner have traveled to see one another, including photos, tickets, boarding passes, hotel reservations, etc.

Police report, birth certificate  get two or three copies, DS 160 confirmation, two new letters of intent, whole copy of the I 129F petition, new evidence pictures, logs, I have the last three years of the tax transcripts, I also have a work letter, I’m also thinking about my bank statements but not sure

Police report, birth certificate  get two or three copies, DS 160 confirmation, two new letters of intent this is Embassy specific with most Embassies not asking for a new letter of intent - check the P3 for the country, whole copy of the I 129F petition Not needed and not asked for, new evidence pictures, logs, I have the last three years of the tax transcripts Most embassies are asking for only one year - check the P3, I also have a work letter, I’m also thinking about my bank statements but not sure.

If you follow the "Evidence of Support" from above that is what is needed. Why do if do will do?
