Please house i need help. My wife was rushed to the hospital yesterday and was taking to intensive care unit. Shes 7months pregnant, the doctor said she has a liver problem and her BP is going up so they have to put her under observation for no specific time frame.
Now she really don't have anybody around her, i want to ask if there's anyway we can speed the process by requesting for emergency? Then another thing our case has just yet be transferred to NVC and next week will make the process seven month. Please i really need you advice on what to do next.  The doctor said my attention is badly needed over there that she can help with any documents we need for the process.

you said wife but your timeline indicates you applied for a fiance visa.

you might be able to get the doctor to supply a letter asking for an expedite but its unlikely a pregnancy is not considered a reason for expedite.

but you can certainly try it.

its still a pregnancy, it would be different if it was a life or death situation I would think, but I am not an expert, you can ask the doctor to supply a letter and once you have a case number your wife can submit it to the expedite email for NVC.

What happens next is they will email the embassy that you will have your interview, if they accept to expedite the case they will send it direct and the embassy will be in contact with you.

this process is neither fast or easy, and sometimes things like this happen and it sucks, I am sorry that you are going through this but women all over the world have had babies on their own.

here is the email address that your wife can send the email to nvcexpedite@state.gov

you will need the case #

she will include your name and the date of your birth, as well as the contact number for you, she will then need to be as detailed in her request as much as possible

it will then be up to the embassy to accept the expedite.

I do hope it all works out and your wife's health improves.

The pregnancy is not a good reason for expediting and it sounds like it might not be safe to move her (fly to the US) until she stabilizes.  I would offer her support and prayers and be less concerned about the petition and more concerned about the health of your wife and child.  Even an expedite can take months.  It is not instant and she will still need to interview.  My heart goes out to you and your wife and child.  I hope all works out and everybody is fine.

If that were my wife and child, I would be by her side.  That is my suggestion and advice.  Go to her.

Agreed...her and the potential child's well being is the most important item here.

Under what basis would an expedite apply? I understand she has a liver issue and BP issue, but what would bed the benefit of an expedite to mitigate those issues? For instance, if it was an severe life threatening condition and documented (yet still able to fly), that might pass. If the necessary treatment was not available to her there and was i the US, that might pass.

That doesn’t sound life threatening. It sounds like it’s one of those things where she’s gonna be in observation there for a couple of days then most likely sent home on bed rest for the rest of the term. That is not enough to expedite immigration processing. You can apply for an expedite but don’t be surprised if it’s not approved. Keep checking with the doctors for progress.

Your wife can certainly try for an expedite, but there is no guarantee that it will be granted.

His wife is the petitioner. He cannot "go to her" without the visa. He's trying to be by her side which is why he's inquiring about an expedite.
