Awesome!!!!! I thought I found my dream job but now looking again 😆

Oh no!! lol I turned down a few jobs hoping I would get this one!! I actually emailed the hiring manager a few days after my phone interview because they were moving slow in the hiring process and told them I had an offer from a different firm. She sped up the process, interviewed me, and gave me the job!! It was the boldest thing I've ever done, but it worked!! LOL Good luck in your search!!

I got the same RFE. :(

I will have the medical appointment end of this week.

not sure how much delay will this cause.

Hey,

Have you sent back your I-693 form?

As I received my card today.

I sent back my RFE on 7/2. Received by USCIS on 7/3. Got approved on 7/6 and got my card today.

So all the best to you!

Congrats!!! Thanks for sharing your good news with me. My I-693 is still with the clinic. The results are not ready yet. So I have to wait for them first.

Has anybody with the ead/AP (not with an approved green card obviously) driven to Mexico and back? Do I need to get a visa since my K1 has already expired? I have a work related meeting at Juarez and my company plans to take a bus /shuttle from El Paso to Juarez and back. I'll surely be taking all my NOAs, marriage certificate etc with me.

Visa?

Your AP allows reentry into the US.

Your passport allows entry into Mexico.

Does your country of citizenship require a Visa to Mexico.

That is the real question and should be posed in a Mexican forum.

Ah that makes sense. I have an Indian passport and yes, I need a visa for entry into Mexico. I got confused since the last time I visited Mexico was with an unexpried US student visa

My wife received her green card this week, hurrah!  We'll be able to go back and visit her family this Fall.

The issue with name change that we had with the officer turned out to be her first name, not the last name, which he changed for us to my family surname as requested.  She'd just wanted to Americanize her Ukrainian name, but we can live with that.

Many sympathies to those of you still dealing with delays.

Our green card interview was verbally approved about 4 weeks ago, but the vaccinations weren't done. So May 11th my Romanian wife finally  turned in the paperwork (it takes about a month to get all the vaccinations done at the specific time each shot needs to be done.)

So the online case status updated to "Name was updated." I believe this means the green card is being printed? I'll refrain from  getting too excited until the green card is actually in our possession.

Hi all, I've been mostly silent on this forum but got a lot of help reading some of the posts here, especially the timelines so I want to share mine:

I came on J1 status and applied for AOS family based (wife is USC). Application was concurrent I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765. I also send the I-693 with the original package.

10/11/18: Package was received by USCIS

10/17/18: I-797s for all 4 forms

10/26/18: notice for biometrics appointment

11/16/18: biometrics appointment

11/29/18: fingerprint review was completed

02/20/19: RFIE regarding I-864

03/18/19: Sent response to RFIE

04/20/19: Interview ready to be scheduled

06/10/19: Interview was scheduled

06/21/19: EAD card being produced

06/28/19: Received EAD card

07/15/19: AOS Interview - approved

Now waiting for my green card and ssn to be sent to me. I assume I need to change my DL on my own?

If anyone has any questions I'm happy to answer in the next couple of days and then plan to disconnect from this issue for a couple of years :)

Good luck to anyone still waiting, hang in there.
