Thank you. Good luck to you too... I thought it takes 6 months because of plenty applications... either way we have to patiently wait.

6 months is generally a decent estimate for NOA2.  Actually I think 6 to 8 is more accurate.  Be prepared.  Things move after NOA2!

yes we are prepared.

after the NOA2, I think it turns to the beneficiary to show all proof of the bone fide relationship.

That will be at the interview.  Yes, that is when you want the good proof.

Hello everyone!  We're all about one month in now! Yay!  Is anyone else making the trip/ fiance making the trip to the States for Thanksgiving?  My fiance is coming November 20th for the holiday.  It will be his first trip here since we filed.  I'm a little concerned because he has a layover in Philadelphia before flying to me in Boston.  So, I won't be there if he has any trouble at customs.  Has anyone had any problems at this airport?  Is there something specific he should bring to prove he is only staying for the holiday, or is his return ticket enough?  He is coming from England and will be visiting on an ESTA, if that makes any difference...?

Thanks so much!  Hope everyone's waits aren't too painful ❤️

If there is any documents that he can bring with him to show that he still has ties in his country i.e. rent contract, home ownership documents, a letter from his job supervisor that they have knowledge of his trip and these are the dates he'll be gone and they expect his return into the office on such and such a date could prove to be handy to show immigration that he has ties back home and he will be returning.

On the USCIS own website its only April filers, buuut still very exciting and happy news that May filers on VJ are getting approved!
Even though, we are still very early in the process and still have a long wait, then yes I actually agree a bit on that time flies! :D
I think it´s because it´s, despite the wait, a really happy time together, being engaged, plan the wedding and just enjoy the thought of soon finally being able to get married and start my life with my fiancé! :D

@rashie @BNY93Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.
