:(

61 days since responding to RFE on I-485

105 days since I-131 was received (we have a our honeymoon coming up after Christmas, not sure what's going to happen with that)

70 days since fingerprints were done for I-765

Thought that this process would be much easier than K1 because at least we'd be together, turns out it's actually just as difficult.

I feel the same! K1 was easier and faster because I did it almost all by myself. Now with my husband, he doesn’t do anything and he didn’t let me know that we got RFE until I noticed that from checking my status yesterday... I know that’s another problem between us though😅

I didn’t have even SSN.

Filed August 9 with EAD, AP. I really need to work soon...

thisnis not my dream life at all.

I feel you. Not being able to work makes this change more difficult for me. Married life has its challenges and its harder to cope when you don't have much to do during the day and your friends and family are not around.

Hopefully we'll receive some good news in the upcoming weeks!

Hey to everyone that is struggling... I know exactly how you feel... I have to tell myself daily that the wait is just tempory, this time next year we will be wishing we were off...

We could also all be doing the long distance thing wishing we were with our OH's we should be thankful that we are here and we only have a few more weeks to go. :) enjoy Christmas prep and the hallmark channel.

Much love my fellow EAD/AP/GC waiters

It is very hard time! I'm feeling super down and full of sadness this week. My husband is not helping a lot, I'm the only one dealing with all the paperwork.  All this lead to homesickness, depression and stress out.

Fingers crossed they start approving Aug filer EADs in December! Glad to hear they are on mid-July now, but what a wait. Just so frustrating. With the holidays coming up I worry it will slow down again though. Agh.

Keep your heads up everyone. It's just temporary. You're all with your loved ones now so the worst wait is over. Together you can do anything.

I had my AOS interview today in Indianapolis. It went pretty good. They didnt ask my husband to go back, just me. He went through the form with me, every single question, which took almost half an hour in itself. Then asked for my passport, a copy of the marriage liscence, and both our divorce papers. And all the papers proving our marriage, bank statement, shared insurance ect. That's it. He told me all seemed in order and he'd recommend us for approval.

He said it could take up to 3 months to get my greencard, but other people were told 2 to 3 weeks. So we'll see.

We must find strength. Some days are harder than others. I keep repeating my mantra “this too shall pass”.

No, my EAD and AP haven't been approved yet. I think I'll have my greencard before them. I'm pretty sure I read here somewhere that an officer said that EAD and AP application will be put on hold and then terminated once you get your interview/greencard.

Your best bet would be to check with GA filers who have tried their luck with their DMV office. I've tried with mine in CA, and they insist that the combo card will be the only way they'll proceed with my DL

EAD/AP: Card received.

AOS: Case ready to be scheduled.
