Lol why does this thread still even  being discussed there is literally only one available answer to OP question and people are getting into some bizzare divorce BS advices or mentioning non existing K3 visa... really? 

 

OP. Cancel K1. Start Cr1. End of story.

Essentially, this just means depending on which form gets reviewed first determines which visa they follow through with. So even if you start out applying for a K3, chances are, it will be converted to a CR1 by the government, for efficiency purposes.

Maybe all is not lost, perhaps the OP can now do a direct consular filing CR1 for the USCIS field office in Manilla

 

Actually never mind, the petitioner hasn't been in the Philippines long enough.

Well, minus the $535 fee for the i-130 that they're now going to have to file. And the flights to visit at least once (you'd hope) during the now extra ~13-15 months (allowing for OP's hubby requiring a month to get together proof of bonafide marriage & wait for official marriage certificate for the initial application to start front loading it).

Have you registered your marriage at PSA? If not, your K1 can still be continued, and I advise you not to register it. Ipa-hold nyo  muna sa city hall. 
If you had a civil wedding, you can talk to the officiating person to hold your papers and not submit it to PSA.

I would be very careful in trying that..they are married, and their K-1 was nullified as soon as they completed the ceremony.

Hi I felt excited about what you said. As we didn't registered our marriage at PSA yet,  not yet authenticated. Yes we had just civil wedding. Is it really a chance for us to continue our K1 visa?

I really dislike threads like this one.  She had an honest, simple question.  Many gave her the correct answer, and then many more questioned her thinking for even asking the question.  Everyone isn't an involved with the immigration process as many are here.  Let's not pass any judgement on anyone for asking a question, no matter how obvious the answer may be to everyone who spends lots of time here.

You must now withdraw the 129F and file for CR1/IR1 spouse visa, fiance visa is expansive you wasted your money, if you know you were going to get married then you should not have applied for fiance visa...
