Hi Folks! Our petition was approved July 26, 2018 so I'm on to the next step with you all!

I looked through the P3 stuff for Thailand to prepare. I filled out and gave my fiance the i-134 Affidavit of Support in late April.

At this point I just wait for a NVC case# now? Do they mail it to you or do they have a site like the USCIS where you can track things?

After such a long time filing the i-129f, I feel like the process has started over again haha.

Congrats! Did you have to provide extra proof of an ongoing relationship? My fiance and I haven't meet now for more than 2.5 years. So glad to see that this is not a reason for getting denied.

Hello! I hope everybody doing well!

I have a question, my fiance received an email from NVC that they received our case and they will send it to the US embassy in Paris.

I look on the site for instructions, I gathered some papers, can I fill out the DS-260 or I have to wait for the embassy to receive our file?
Thank you for your answers!

I just checked my NVC status and in 1 day it went from “In Transit” to “Ready”!!! I’m just arriving home from being with my fiancé so what a welcome home gift! Is there a sub group for the embassy in Senegal? I would like some guidance on the embassy there for my fiancé. Also do he need to bring the same proof of relationship documents to the interview we submitted to USCIS? Can I scan my IRS transcripts and email them to my fiancé or do I need to mail the originals? Just need guidance on what someone’s experience with this embassy. Thanks

Thank you for your answers!

Everything you need is here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1g3Kap3mdru6wVgE95v0aLDs7kCvUk3BP/view?usp=sharing

BTW you do not fill out the DS-260 but you complete the DS-160. That note you are referring to is just a standard reply and only matters to those who are immigrants and you are a non-immigrant with immigrant intentions.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

My fiancee said she was just asked a few questions regarding my job and how we met but never questioned her about our relationship and about the affidavit of support which I'm not surprised because they pretty much don't ask for that anymore. So if your fiancee knows you really well which I'm sure she does, I wouldn't sweat it. She was in and out in 5 minutes. Just make sure she smiles and looks directly at the interviewer and above all, don't provide any info unless they ask for it. When is her interview?  She will do just fine. Yeah as long as you petitioned her BEFORE 2.5 years you are fine so not too worry about that so take care and blessings!!!:P
