I called NVC today for fun. They said they didn't receive it which I already knew. @Naes how long did you have to Wait from NOA2 to getting to NVC case number?

21 days

There is not much you can do till you receive your case number from NVC and schedule your appointment. Have you read over the information from HERE to insure you have everything and you know what the next steps are?

I did. Thank you :)

Mike had the NOA 2 in the mail. It says that they noted, that this is the second approved I-129F. But he never applied for one before. Who should we call? USCIS or NVC? He is pretty worried. Actually me too.

Hi. I am a June 1 NOA2. My NOA 1 day was Dec 1. Gonna start calling NVC later this coming week.

Let's hope this NVC thing goes by fast. I know some ppl have issues. a once we get the NVC number we can begin tracking it as it heads to the Consulate.

So is this a sign that things are going to start speeding up on the USCIS end, if they haven't already? I see a few folks on here who are June filers; this makes it a 6 month wait for NOA2 which isn't bad compared to the long waits people are expecting now.

I truly believe that is a mistake on USCIS's part as I have seen over the past few days where people (you can check the April and May NOA2 thread and see 2 or 3 who experienced something similar)  are getting "phantom" emails from USCIS about different things concerning their journey. It happened to me that I received an email from USCIS stating this:

There has been a recent processing action taken on your case.
Receipt Number: EAC16059XXXXX
Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED
Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

When I go and investigate there is no plausible reason for my wife to receive this. Also, I have 2 K-2's and they didn't get a letter like this. So I am ignoring this and keeping an eye open for anything to arrive from the Post Office. I suggest you do the same but the choice is yours. I for one think it is just a mistake. Besides how could you  have more than one case open and for them not to send you a written notice that one is going to be disallowed?

Morning,

I was trying to Login on https://ceac.state.gov and the following Message came out:

The selected Case Number and Date of Birth combination you entered does not match our records. Please try again or contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where your case is being processed.

Has this happen to anyone also?

I try with his information and Mine and the same error comes out.

The wac # is not your case number for CEAC. you will get your case number that will begin with 3 digit letter code based on your Consulate. To get the case number, you have to call NVC about 14 days after your NOA2 and they should be able to give you your case number.

That's what I was attempting to explain after the OP described what her intentions were on CEAC...

When looking up your K1 case at the NVC using the CEAC website it will not ask for anyone's Date of Birth so the OP's post was confusing..

Again, @Vivianna....what info are you attemptng to retrieve to have it ask your DOB?  It will ask for immigrant or nonimmigrant and then your NVC case number only. Your post is confusing....

Hi,

Never mind I was in the wrong portal that is why it was giving me an error.

I filed my fiance 160 yesterday.

Do I still have to wait until the NVC send me something to pay for it?

Depends on your country as the answer to that is embassy specific.

Try looking up your embassy's portal and searching for/asking that question there.

Also, the DS160 should be signed and submitted by the beneficiary only. Some embassies allow you to submit it before they tell you to. Others do not.

Thank you 😊

My local embassy is Philippines. I just really want to make sure.

Btw, did you wait to receive your P3 before gathering all necessary documents needed?

You're welcome. There is plenty of info if you search the Philippines portal as there are plenty of beneficiaries from your country.

And, lol....I had most of my docs ready for months except the few that are time sensitive (paystubs, passport photos, the Letter of Intent). In saying that though, some will take awhile to receive and must be organized slightly ahead of time (a long form BC, police clearances from other countries you have lived).

Still waiting for P3 to be sent to me. Just became "Ready" on May 30th and my status on CEAC updated just yesterday which subliminally tells me my case is being worked on. Expecting the P3 to be emailed/snail mailed to me any day now.

I did receive an email from my consulate (Montreal) telling me I must not proceed in sending them P3 or scheduling the interview. I had decided not to force feed them the P3 on my own without the okay from them but I had contemplated doing that so that was kind of strange to receive that email, lol.

BUT in saying ALL of that, each embassy is different. I cannot stress that enough that you must do research on the process after NOA2 and what your specific embassy requires and the timeline as to which you should proceed according to your embassy.

Very nice to hear this from a Canadian a little further ahead of me in the process. I have heard of others who have force fed P3 and had no issues. Worst case they will do is tell you it is too early to submit it. Might as well send it in being you already have "ready" on the CEAC.
