I’ve gotten a job offer and I want to apply for expedite on my EAD. Will I get into trouble for doing that? And how do I apply for expedited and send it to USCIS? Do I just mail them a letter from the place that wants to hire me?

Ofc when you apply for your job you have to let the employer know your situation (I.e. you can't work till you get your EAD).

First you call USCIS and tell them you want to expedite your EAD. Then they would send you an email or mail ask for poor.

You have to ask your employer to give you an offer letter. So you mail this letter to them or fax them.

107 days and counting another week in the wait 😒...Hopefully this is our month!

I just checked USCIS AP/EAD processing time, it went down to 4.5-6.5 months from 5-7 months!

 

I think that's good news!! We are almost there!!

Did they send a message or you just checked it online? Was it "case is received" before this status?

 I've read of others receiving their card 2 weeks after making the request.
