I am still waiting here is Seattle.  Just get my monthly email saying" We are still processing your case".  My EAD Combo card expires in a month.  Applied to have it renewed in Feb, but still only receipt of that as well.  Anyone in the Seattle area???

Notified this morning of approval. Interview was 1-31-2019, had letter it was being held for review and today got notified of approval by text and email.

Now to wait for the mail! 💪🤪

I just had my interview 2 days ago in Newark, and got the same letter, and the online status still stuck at 'interview was scheduled' :(

Based on your timeline, I should hear something next week!

Finally got our interview scheduled letter!! (Phoenix office, July 10th appointment) I was just about to file for EAD and AP renewal, which I am still going to submit just in case.

Can anyone confirm on AP and EAD renewal - we have to submit them separately, right? When I was reading instructions it looks like we send to different addresses, but hope I am correct that there are no fees since AOS is pending.

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

Does anyone here have any experience in expediting the renewal of your AP card.  I am in Seattle and even though it's been more that a year already I do not see an interview date happening anytime soon.  My EAD Combo expires on the 25th of June.  Applied for renewal n Feb already.  I know that you get automatic EAD extension once you reply based on the K1 (C9) visa, however the AP does not extend.  I need to travel for a day or two for my work outside of us.  I want to try and expedite my AP due to the fact that if I can travel I will lose my job.  Thoughts?

You'll get it in the mail usually within 10 days, all things being equal. Good luck!

Hi - my wife is about to start a P/T job, and I've got two questions

1) It asks for a visa code. It does have a K option but since she's an AOS, is it appropriate to put OT, which in their system means "Other visa type, including specific status of international student unknown"? She's not a student of course, but she's not a permanent resident per the EAD card. The only other reasonable option seems to be AP - Approved Petitioner for immigrant visa, but she's not going for a visa, she's going for AOS. Any thoughts?

2) She applied for the EAD extension already back in April, and we have yet to hear anything besides the notice that they received it. Anyone have any updates on their own EAD extensions? Her card expires 8/19 and she's worried about that. Should we be calling USCIS to check?

Thanks!

Hello Everybody, I wanted to share our experience during the AOS Interview.

Our Date was JUne 26th, 2019 at 11:10 am. We arrived at 10:45 am to be cautious with time.

They called everyone in the room except us, we were the last couple to be called that had me extremely stressed out. Finally the Agent called my name, we followed him to is office and he asked us to raise our right hand to swear. Then he review the folder he already had on his desk with our application, he asked the eligibility questions (If I was part of a terrorism group, genocide, prostitution, etc), I answer No, He asked my husbands current employer, my employer, my husbands children's name and that was it. No more questions, I didn't even open the folder that I had prepared with our evidences (bank statements, insurance policies, pictures, etc ) He said " everything looks fine, you should be receiving your green card in the mail  within the next 30 days". And that was it, we were done. All these years being afraid of that moment and it happened so quickly and went so well. I still haven't received my green card in the mail it's only been 3 days, I'm so happy and relieved.

Good Luck to everyone else!!.
