Hi Everyone! an urgent question. I am filling out my last 5 years residence in the form. 2014 till present is one address BUT for 2.5months, I lived in my home country when I got married last year. I want to add that 2.5months residence with my husband, as this will also be helpful for out immigration I130. When I was adding that residence online(7/2017 till 9/2017), It is saying I CANNOT HAVE OVERLAPPING DATE RANGES IN MY RESIDENCE HISTORY.
Have anyone submitted with some months overlapping range and was it accepted?
Any help would be appreciated.

Morning everyone! Back on this forum after years and years. Lots have changed...not married to my ex anymore but remarried and expecting a baby. Life is crazy sometimes!

 

Just filed on 3/5 based on 5 years LPR. Impressed with the online system, got a notice the next business day that things were recieved, and a notice about the bio appointment a few days later. However, my BIO are - OF COURSE - scheduled on a day when I will be out of State for a trip. I am thinking about walking in and just waiting for the physical appointment letter to come in the mail.

I am in California and the service center office I am going to for bio is in Tustin. Hopefully they take me - wondering if I can play the prego card ;)

My estimate for case completion is December 2018. Really bummed because I wanted to vote in the primaries! Anyone else filing from CA?

+ 1 as a N-400 March 2018 filer with pending ROC application!

 

Question - will the USCIS local office accommodate and stamp my passport if I come in more than a month before the status expiry date specified on  my extension letter?  I received a letter from DMV few weeks ago stating that my driver's license is due to expire in May. It says I can come in and renew up to two months in advance so technically, I can renew iin DMV this month provided I get the stamp for extension from my local USCIS office. I was able to secure an infopass appointment for next week, March 22 but just want to make sure so I won't waste my time as I would take off from work.

I have read a lot of posts about requiring tax transcripts at the interview. I even read a post about a lady who was interviewed and was asked for the transcripts and didn't have them. She only had the returns. She had to order and submit them before she was approved.  I wasn't asked to upload mine, but will take them with me.

 

I have also copied this from another post.

 

 "  Returns+w2+1099 and any other documents that have anything to your year returns is what you SUBMIT but a tax transcript is what the IRS has ACCEPTED and hence not only a definitive document but also a short and sweet version of your income earned, tax paid status for the year.

While returns are allowed to be submitted, it is necessary to ALSO submit each and every document including all w2s and 1099s etc with the return but in the case of transcript, just the transcript will suffice.

It is highly recommended to take transcripts instead of returns+paperwork. "

They can give you the I-551 stamp few weeks or a week before the expiration date of your GC. It also depends on the office, good luck.

Hi there. After you get your NOA, you will see the Estimated Completion Date (ECD) - which will be the estimated Month and Year where your application is supposedly completed.
