No worries. Anything I can do to help. This was by far the easiest process for me, after taking four years to get my GC and in front of an Immigration judge three times. I honestly tried not to worry. It will happen soon for you. As I suspected it took longer for me because it was a judicial ceremony. I'm still not 100 % sure why, as I was only changing to my married name, which only requires an administrative ceremony. I think it may have been something to do with my witnesses not printing their name on my marriage cert, and only signing it. Best of luck

I received the email on Wednesday 10/3 at 6:12 am. The letter was actually dated 10/2 which was a Tuesday.

Thank you 😃 My husband and I went out to lunch on the way back. I couldn’t sleep the night before until 2 am due to nerves and had to be up at 6 am. I spent part of the day today at the SSA office changing my name and my status 😃

Hi Sam, I didn’t receive any text, just an email to say that I needed to check my account for an update. When I checked I saw the Oath Ceremony letter. The actual letter didn’t arrive in the post until almost a week later.

Thanks so much. I actually waited 8 weeks for my Oath Ceremony because it was a judicial ceremony, as I changed my last name finally to my married name. Not 100 % sure why I had to do the judicial one to be honest as I thought my marriage certificate would be enough. Im sure it won’t take as long for you. Congratulations to you too x

I filed under the five year rule. You can download the first four years Tax Transcripts and for the last one, The Tax Account as the Transcript will not be available. They are all found in the same place.

I have no idea why it took so long to get a date scheduled. I was the last to be interviewed on August 8th at 2:20 pm. I was approved the following morning at 6:30 am. Im really hoping they still change my name to my married name. I’ve been waiting 8 years to change, but didn’t want to pay to change it on my GC. The email “ letter “ is still addressed in my maiden name, but I’m guessing that’s because I applied in my maiden name. Has anybody changed their name at the Oath Ceremony?

Don’t worry, just make a note of what needs correcting, and let them know at the interview. I made a copy of my N400 and made notes on items that I needed to correct on it. I must have changed about 4 or 5 things including adding my trip to England after I’d submitted the original online. It wasn’t a problem at all and I was approved. You’ll be fine xx
  14. Did you hear anything about Oath ceremony? I wish you good luck.

That's so weird, I am not trying to drag it but I had my interview on August 1st and the IO didn't approve me. The IO told that I have to submit a document. But when I came home by the evening 4:30 PM I got an email approved. Next day another email that oath ceremony scheduled.

Did you receive any email that you were approved? or did you get an email saying that oath ceremony scheduled or in line for Oath ceremony?

At the end of the interview the IO gives a form, I don't remember the form number but My form says additional evidence required. So when IO approved you did she give you a form saying that you are approved? Basically its tick marks on the form about the interview.
