The Current I-134 Affidavit of Support shows an expiration date of 11/30/2018.

Is anyone worried about this?

Lots of people are worried about this; you see posts about it here every few days. No one should be worried about it. OMB expiration dates are for internal government purposes only. The USCIS forms page says what edition dates are accepted. There's not a newer edition of the I-134 available, so you can keep using this one. When a new version of the form does become available, they'll say how long they'll continue to accept the old form.

Well been well over a month since approved at interview and over a week since issued and no visa in hand yet !!

Have you tried calling your local 2go office? Sometimes they get to that location and if they are not going into the province for another week or so it will just sit until such time as they get up and go out to your area. Whatever your situation is, call them. Then if they don't have it then you can start working backwards in finding the current status.

Yes and they have not received her visa. Hopefully folks reading this can learn from our lesson and review their paperwork.

Normally all Embassies follow the same regiment. Now their execution can be different. It seems they are either not working on your case, or they are not updating CEAC. I believe it is that they haven't touched your record since the interview.

Yes you can go from ready to issue in a blink of an eye. Normal visa in the passport is 2 weeks. Your mileage may vary.

Thank you Greenbaum. It's only been a little over 1 week and they also told me 2 weeks, so I will wait. I just was surprised that there was no update as I heard of some people saying that their's was in AP directly after the interview....but maybe mine will just go from Ready to Issued and never hit AP :) we'll see!

Time to be on the phone to the Embassy. It's the last suggestion I have. Hope this resolves the problem.

It's only been under 2 weeks since the approved interview but does it mean anything if my case still says ready (not AP) and just changed to saying case was last updated today (after not being touched since the interview date on Dec 7)?

We have seen cases approved and visa issued within hours, a day, a week and sometime 1-12 months. Again, I must say to have more patience. When you record changes from "immigrant" to "non-immigrant" then that is a sign that you are within days of receiving your visa. More of this :clock:   is needed.

Thanks, Greenbaum, sometimes I just need to hear it and yes I have seen on these posts regarding immigrant to non-immigrant so I will keep an eye on it. Happy holidays!

I'd like to add that i think even officers in embassies might take days off around holidays, on top of upcoming holidays, so it might drag out the processing a bit.
But if You were approved, it's just a matter of time when you'll see the "Issued". Job's done, sit back and enjoy a drink or two.
Congratulations!
