Texas is just a lock box. They don't not approve any cases. They are transferred to csc. A few do get transferred to vsc. Those from what I have seen that go to vsc are (special cases).

if u see tsc and a approval. The person who input there vj info was not aware of this and input it wrong.

Should I call? Should I wait... should I delete my visajourney account so it doesn't drive me insane?!

Unfortunately, it's not abnormal to see others approved before you even if they were after or around the same time. Be patient and it'll happen!

I wasn't actually going to start feverishly looking at the sites until after next week.  I think the average for Thailand is about 193 days.  I don't think they'll tell you anything of substance until you cross the 210 mark.  Hang tight, it'll come!

Thanks, I wasn't planning on freaking out until mid-sep either, but seeing all these approvals had me hoping. Okay, back to waiting... thanks

I agree.  I also wanted to butt in somewhere because of something i read earlier and can't find now.  People worry that it seems USCIS is so busy one day and does nothing the next.  For all you know, you could already have been approved.   My fiance and I were already married and it still did not show as approved on any website.  One day, it was just there in the mail.  Also, a lot of times you read horror stories on here that make you worry and freak out.  I almost wasted $1500 to some professor to write me a letter explaining how Egyptian divorce works since my fiance's divorce decree had certain wording.  I never received an RFE because I knew everything was honest and there were really no problems with the paperwork.  The Visa Journey processing times thing is pretty accurate.  Just don't watch for your number to show as approved and go to bed discouraged.  We got approved about 2 weeks ahead of what Visa Journey predicted.   If you need a two income household, do not delay getting married and sending the AOS paperwork for the work permit.  I thought that paperwork was going to be more complicated than it was and we sent it two months after being married.  That was a mistake because work permits (EAD) are taking around 5 months now.  Also, fiances tend to be bored not working if you work every day.  The AOS paperwork is not complex.  Anyone can contact this blog with questions.  Unless you have an extraordinary case with legal needs, you can do it yourself and save the preparation fees.   It's easier than the I-129.  Just try not to be discouraged by all the horror stories you read.  May all of you dreams come true soon.

Thank you sooo much for these encouraging words!!!! Gives me a big relief! Whenever I am going to America everyone is just complaining how hard and horrible it is right now there, and I am giving up a great job in Sweden with tons of social benefits... All this to be with the love of my life of course !  I hope it will all turn out well for us! ❤️  And also for all of you guys here!!!

There are always two sides to the story and you will see and experience each. Life here is still good but it's what you make of it. Sometimes tuning out the "static" around you can give you a different outlook. I wish you the best.

Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your baby. If I can suggest something, just stay low key. Don't worry about anything in this process. If you let it flow it's course your and the baby will be in the US in no time. Stress FREE! But it's up to you if you can stay off the phone calling USCIS, NVC your Embassy and being on VJ listening to every one complain.

 

There is a forum here on VJ that talks about CRBA http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/154-consular-reports-of-birth-abroad-crba/. It would be a good place to start. You guys can do this!

It will work out. Just trust in each other and communicate. I personally think everyone going through the K1 visa process is doing something truly remarkable. It's the ultimate leap of faith. God has a plan for all of us  I believe all that we've individually been through has led us up to these moment we are about to experience. Life takes us all on different paths, and we'll all right where we are suppose to be right now. 

 

I commend you for following your heart! Love is the greatest gift we can give. Bumpy roads are inevitable (metaphorically and literally) but, as long as we have the person we love beside us, it's possible to overcome. I wish you and everyone on her well in the rest of the journey we all have left.
