so how does it go now, did you get the NVC notice?

@AnnaR after you get the notification on the website the next stage is to wait for the hard NOA2, it can take 2-4 weeks to hear back from the NVC, once they receive the approved petition they will do a background check on the Fiancé and once that comes back clean they then send it to the embassy, for what I’ve read it takes 14-16 days to get the new case number and that it’s on the way to the embasssy of your country

Thank you! I should be clear, I checked the new USCIS website.  I’ve been checking all day yesterday since some people from our date were approved.  Even up to 2AM central time here in Canada (btw I’m the beneficiary)!  Still no update.  I checked at 5:30 AM and found the update!

I had to read it over 10 times to make sure it didn’t say RFE.

After NOA2 is offically received, or after it says on the website that the case has been approved, how long left after that? How long at the NVC, does anyone have any accurate information?

You're asking hard questions
It depends is the short answer. It is ranging anywhere from 12 days to 6 weeks for NVC to have your case ready.

After NVC, it all depends on how fast your embassy moves.

I think a reasonable estimate is to give yourself 2-3 months after NOA2 to have your VISA.

My suggestion for now: After USCIS approves your case, give it 14-16 days from the approval date on the letter to start calling NVC for your case number.
Follow the steps here for what to do next: https://sites.google.com/view/post-noa2/home

Congrats on your approval!

It looks like they are working backwards. I'm old site 01/02 and new 01/05. I hope that means I'm right at the door 😁

Also congrats!

Good morning! Congratulations to all approvals. Looking at the thread - most likely ours will get approved August? Our NOA1's Jan30th and I saw some NOA1s dates were adjusted from 2-6 days.

I am January 30th too, assume August as well
