House Passes Bill To Avoid Government Shutdown

The other good thing that you did not put on here was that this bill also funds the CHIP program for another 6 years. So like I said if they did not do anything about that program then shame on them.

If there is a shutdown, Republicans will get the blame because it'll be the first time in US history the government will shutdown when one party controls both Chambers of Congress and the White House.

Technically, yes.  But I was working for the government then, and everyone around me still went to work.  It was a non-blip in my radar screen.

Yes, CHIP also very important.

I just want congress to do thier jobs for once.

Actually it will be because Democrats care more about illegals (future voters) than they do about our military getting paid.

The military has never NOT gotten paid during shutdowns.  

 

GS workers now, they got sent home without pay in 2013.  Some.

Yeah got sent home with pay and after about 2 weeks I was getting nervous about not getting paid. But as soon as they got the bill signed I got paycheck like a day later.

Actually it'll be Donnie's fault according to Donnie himself! 

He said back in 2013 it's the presidents fault for the government to shutdown because he is the leader of the country.
