Hi guys - I wanted to join in to wish all the January 2018 filers the very best! Here's our journey so far:

Jan 11 - Package (485/130/131/765) Sent

Jan 12 - Package delivered to Chicago

Jan 17 - NOA1 Received (485/130/131/765)

Jan 18 - Checks cashed by USCIS

Jan 19 - Biometrics Notice Sent

Jan 26 - Biometrics Notice Received

Feb 06 - Biometrics Appointment Date (Atlanta)

Looks like we're on a very similar schedule! My biometrics appt. was scheduled for Feb. 6 as well, but walked in this morning since I'll be travelling at that time.

Anyone have an idea of timeline from biometrics appt to interview notification?

Hey all! Was a March 2017 K1 filer, now I’m checking in with Jan AOS filers. Here’s the rundown of my journey so far:

November 14th - Entered on K1
November 18th - Married then Honeymoon
December 15th - SS Card Arrived (7 days after applying)
January 13 - i485/EAD/AP Sent
January 17 - i485/EAD/AP Delivered
January 19 - NOA1 for all three
January 26 - NOA1 hardcopies received

Now patiently waiting for my Biometrics letter to arrive in the mail. Seems that KY is doing an outstanding job at getting AOS GC decisions out the door. According to VJ it’s averaging 110 days or so right now. That’s exciting compared to others I’ve seen. Hopefully with no RFEs we’ll see if it actually lives up to that I guess. Boredom is starting to get the best of me. lol

In other news, it stopped snowing long enough that I was finally able to get my drivers license issued this last week. Drivers test took all of 10 minutes and got issued a 4 year license! Crazy reading how the rules on that change so much from state to state. K1s apparently fall in to a “special category” here. As long as you show your marriage license with the K1 visa, you get a standard issue 4 year license after testing.

Its all coming together bit by bit. Good luck to everyone on speedy APPROVALS!

It really depends on your where your USCIS place is. Mine is Denver, CO and they are quite backed up so I expect mine about October at the earliest this year.

Hey all ,

After all frustration with USPS delays since January 11th, finally we received the NOA1 text message and email from USCIS last night at 11:25, I opened my eyes with seeing the text this morning which is a great relief of pain.

Now, the real game of Waiting started.

Good luck everyone.

Oh no, I pray its an easy fix.

Thanks I pray so too!! The delays are no fun i hope it's the only one and the others are ok! The NOA said they'll inform abt the others individually. since we filed concurrently i hope they accepted the other ones
