my ead was on new card was being produced. I’m confused. What does it mean? Will i be receiving an ead soon right after my aos interview? Anyone same situation?

I also had my interview yesterday and I have the same change with my EAD. I thought it was a coincidence until now.

Maybe it happened because we skipped our EAD?

No, you two just happened to have your EAD approved slightly before your GC.

My EAD and AP were denied yesterday, because I had already got my GC approved.

My status changed to we are producing your card a few hours after we left the interview. Then a day later it changed to we approved your case.

Got an update last night that my card is already in the mail, so I guess they just skipped the other statuses. Hopefully it turns up soon!

I am a bit frustrated.  I had my GC interview May 24th, which is great, but I have never had any updates online until today.  My email states:

"We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time.  We will notify you when your case status changes.  We last took action on your case on May 17, 2018."

So they send me an update that there are no updates, even though I have progressed to the interview after the date?  What's the point of getting this update.

I guess I should be happy I finally got some correspondence?

I just wish that they would get their system corrected and working the way it should.  What's the point of having a manner of checking your case file if it never works properly for the majority of us.

Anyone else had this?

I got that same standard email after my case was approved and my GC was under production, so ignore that message.

I got updates for every single step of the process though, both via text and email. Probably via my account on the old Case Status Online website, where I had activated both alerts.

Hi everyone,

Just got my EAD/AP combo today!

NOA1: January 11th

Approval: May 22nd

Card in Mail: May 31st

It took a long time but at least I got it. For anyone wondering, I did get updates on the USCIS website and on my phone.

GC status:

NOA1: January 11th

After that no changes except on the USCIS website. My case says it was reviewed on March 20th but I havent gotten any updates since then.

Good luck to everyone out there! Let me know if you have any questions.

Got confused. Which one will be receiving soon. Since my aos still on validation error even though I finished my interview.

Logic says your EAD combo card, since it showed the card was being produced when you arrived home after the interview, and you weren't approved on the spot. But your guess is as good as mine... As far as we know, they might have updated the wrong case number with your GC approval.

Just wait and see, you should get something by next week likely.

Says December 11, 2017 now not that that is any consolation. :(

However on the good side the Denver field office used to say 14-30 months for AOS now says 11.5-26 months. WOOHOO I like that number better. lol Not that I believe it muchly. HA
