  1. Not necessary. The officer didn't ask for it. I also read online that it was not required for the K1 but make sure to double check. I just wanted to play it safe.
  2. Hi everyone, We had our AOS interview today and got approved on the spot!!!! We are so happy. Documents we brought: Copies of all the forms submitted New medical examination passports and driver's license current and past EAD proof of relationship evidence (joint bank account, health insurance, car insurance, joint lease, joint credit cards, a ton of pictures of our relationship) During our interview, the officer just asked us for our passports, licenses, and EAD. They reviewed the whole original AOS application and asked the following questions: What do you like about each other? What do you like to do as a couple? How did you meet? What year did you meet each other? Where did you go on your first date? When did you get married? How did you propose? What is your spouse's birth date? Are you currently working? When did you start working? The officer was nice and everything went smoothly. Best of luck to everyone out there!
  3. Thank you for the quick and detailed response. Congrats on your Green Card too!
  4. Thanks for sharing your interview details! Did you have to retake the medical exam for the interview? I got a letter from the USCIS with some instructions regarding that exam. It said that the exam is valid for two years of filing if the filing date was no more than 60 days before filing for the I-485.
  5. As long as your EAD is not expired, you can travel. Even during the last days before it expires. Some helpful links: https://www.uscis.gov/greencard/employment-authorization-document Do not travel when your new EAD card is processing and your old one expired. I hope it helps. If you have any more questions, try to find a forum that only talks about EAD, please. This one is for AOS January filers 2018.
  6. Hi everyone, I just got my interview letter today!!! 1 year and 3 months. The interview is scheduled for May. Good luck to everyone out there. You are close.
  7. Hi twoDs, Same here. We applied for the EAD/AP renewal in December and haven't heard anything since receiving the letter from them saying they received our forms. I saw applicants from September 2017 getting their interviews a couple of weeks ago. I would say we still have 3-4 months to go.
  8. Thanks for sharing! Very useful information. I applied to renew my EAD/AP a couple weeks ago too. Hopefully, we will get our cards before April/May. Nothing else we can do but to keep waiting. 😥 If anyone out there has any new information please let us know. Thanks and good luck to everyone out there.
  9. Thanks for answering!! Good to hear that the error message shows on every case and not just mine haha. I have been waiting a year now and nothing yet. Hopefully, it will come soon! Thanks again. Daniel
  10. Hi Marzena! Are you talking about the tracker on the USCIS website? https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do Mine just gives me this error message 😔 : Validation Error(s) You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding: My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283. Thanks in advance.
  11. Thanks for replying! And you submitted a G-1145?
  12. Hi! Thanks for letting me know. Did you get a text message or an email? Or was it just a notice in the mail? Good luck with your interview!
  13. Congrats!!! I'm still waiting to hear about my interview date. Hopefully, it will be soon. I am applying to renew my EAD/AP this week just in case it takes too long.
  14. Congrats!!!! Glad you are getting your card. Im still waiting for my interview date. I will let everyone know once I get it. Good luck to everyone out there.
  15. Hi Grete, what did you write down then? Did you use your Advance Parole or did you stay in the USA the whole time? Hi, So we put down AOS? Thanks!
