It does get easier Hun. I was the same on 4th jan as I left my fiancé after being with him for 2 weeks. It’s horrible at first. Didn’t sleep for couple of days and kept crying but although I’m finding it hard just think every day we are a step closer x

Keeping hope alive.... thanks for the encouragement

I'm having my Fiancé call USCIS today, or I'll try it myself. I just want to know if they even touched our case or not. :/ (I know I'm getting impatient.)

You will have to trick them to getting you to a Tier II.  Tier I will just read the script.  They will not forward you to Tier II until the published date passes June 30.  I've called 5 times and I did lie my way to Tier II.  Don't expect much from the call except more stress.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

I called and I told them I'm the beneficiary. I was just trying my luck and hoping and I would still get something.

Well, it obviously didn't work. When I told them that I was the beneficiary, all she did was tell me what the options mean in a very sarcastic tone. :/

Oh well.

Oh well.

Call back as the petitioner's representative and tell Tier I that you lost your WAC#.  They don't have access so if you are lucky, they will transfer you to a Tier II (or at least schedule a call back).

I've read from a post on here over the past week. It said, to get to tier 2 press 1, then 2, then 2, then 2. Not sure if it works though.

Now I'm worried that me calling, as the beneficiary will hurt the application. Well, I hope not.

I'll just have my Fiancé call on his day off. He's at work right now so he can't pick up the phone and make a call, and I'll make sure to give him these tips so we can get a Tier II.

Not at all.  They dont track that.  Their call volume is so high right now that they forgot you even called a few seconds after they answered the next call.

The one (and probably only) advantage we have is that USCIS is a fee based and not a Government funded entity.  USCIS will continue to work even if there is a shutdown.  I'm not sure about NVC and I assume that ancillary services will be impacted.  So they will work but they may be slowed a bit...

Is there a big chance of the government shutdown happen?
